  1. As long as both Flynn Downes and Lesley O. are in there to protect our backline - absolutely yes in my opinion. But Lallana on for max. an hour. He could hardly run when he was subbed v Ipswich.
  2. Didn't we lose the first 4 back in the prem in 2012? And won the fifth game vs Villa.... (4-1) and started getting some momemtum
  3. Good point. I love Dibling and wouldn't mind him starting. However I foresee RM wanting to "look after him" and avoid him being kicked to death by the tractor boys from minute one. He just turned 18 so maybe best to not start him every game yet though it's very tempting.
  4. I think they will bring Moyes in, but what can he do with a shitty squad and little money? Everton - you go down. If a club deserves relegation it's EVERf*ckingTON. They had been down in the 90s (92/93?) if Wimbledon keeper Hans Segers hadn't let in two goals in the second half to allow F*ckerton a draw vs Wimbledon to survive on goal difference - the smallest of margins. Wimbledon keeper Hans Segers was investigated for match fixing afterwoods. With good reason. Everton YOU GO DOWN. yes, we might go down as well as may for instance Ipswich or Leicester or Wolves and B'mouth, but besides that: It's primarily Evertons turn to f*ck out of the prem!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. I like your post and agree, but if CT starts - fine with me - he surely plays left back and KWP right back, right? Sugawara benched.
  6. Couldn't agree more. I remember that FA cup overtime goal against us from from "the Jap" (Adrian f*cking Heath) too - back in 84'. Still pissed off about it, so if AMC had both feet in front of his goal line before making the save from Assley Young, without the ref noticing it, it makes the save even sweeter. I LOVE beating Everton. A club I absolutely HATE.
  7. Jack Stephens' ban (blessing in disguise?) means THB is back vs Ipswich. Thank you God. THB had a good game, scored a good goal , scored on his pen as well, and wore the armband. " Posted 3 hours ago "Anytime it happens against Everton I just think Adrian Heath 84". YES. Thank you sir.
  8. Happy for Stewart who scored in the penalty shoot out. Imagine his head ache had he missed.....
  9. YES!!! 😄 That gave me such a good feeling, because I have hated A. Young for decades. Dirty, filthy player. To see him miss his penalty meaning Everton out was the dream scenario for me.
  10. I thought he looked decent , maybe a little rusty with his feet, the other day vs Cardiff. A few important clearances with his head. Physically strong. If nobody bids for him, hell, he can stay til January and we'll see.
  11. I agree. Aribo sometimes , naturally, drifts leftwards in midfield because his stronger leg is his left ; this does not mean he is a winger or left midfielder as I see it. Fernandes also looks like a central midfielder to me. Good player he looks, great attitude, I liked what I saw on his starting debut vs Cardiff. Could turn out to be good business. I pray he will.
  12. Is Ramsdale loan still realistic?
  13. Can't believe Justin Bijlow failed his medical with us. Yes, I know he has an injury history, but still. What now???
  14. hopefully not a stripper unless she can score goals in the premier league Joking aside a keeper for me...
  15. Bad tackle. Ankle ligament injury, it looked like.
  16. Luckily some of our best signings have been on transfer deadline day, so I'd like to see a Sadio Mane type player in the door +a class goalkeeper.
  17. Agreed. The keeper is almost over the line it seems. Hope fully we'll get a striker and winger in on loan.
  18. Will TP and Alcaraz stay, I wonder...
  19. Old news but I just found out From bbc.com: 24 August Premier League Jack Clarke [Sunderland - Ipswich] £15m
  20. I don't disagree. Something between a 4-3-3 and a 3-5-2 like 4-2-3-1 or 4 - 4 - 2 ? Hopefully RM is open for discussions on our formation.
  21. Embarrassing shot on goal stats. We definetly have to do something.
  22. I thought we would be more efficient than we have been on our return to the premier league, creating chances, but after our lame attacking vs especially Forest, I'd like to see Sulemana on the pitch too. Unless we sign one or two effectful createurs / goal scorers (quite unlikely I fear) - playing Sulemana when he is fit can't go much more south than what we've seen so far.
  23. On the positive side we only conceded twice in the first two games in the prem, which has hardly happened sinde the 2010s. But I share your justified worry. Plenty of work to do before the transfer window closes!
  24. Afraid I have to agree....
