I cant belive this, I thought the stupid days of Lowe had gone. This is going to get the club relegated now. This new bloke is supposed to be= "Mauricio is a well-respected coach of substantial quality who has gained a reputation as an astute tactician and excellent man manager. I have every confidence that he will inspire our talented squad of players to perform at the highest possible level." If thats the case why wasnt he got in before the season or the idoit NC say that this bloke is netc manager and NA will be out. Thanks Nigel , you have been brillaint and got Saints back to the big time just like I watched L Mac in 1977/78 Monday looks like a huge protest for fans now. I said 1-1, but to come back rom 2-0 down at a team with all big players. cfc had 30 odd shots and Saints must have battled at the back to keep the score line down. Super Saints just like the old days, well done Saints!!

If saints dont get some players to boost squad and maily for sub options by Villa game then a loss on Saturday would make it very difficult to gain 12 to 15 points from rest of games. Villa game at home was a surprise result to many fans, I for won couldnt belive how rubbish Villa played. I cant see the same for the away trip. The key to Saints winning is movement on the flanks maily from lambo. Gaston and Punch who make a good triangle of options. Cork and Clyne can provide options but too oftem its predictable and easy to defend. Saints are not a tough solid side, we dont have the muscle players like terry Hurlock to scare off a quick forward, we dont have the composure to defend set plays and we cant deal with crosses. I think Villa will be much much better and Saints can get a draw at best. The goal keeper situation is like watching a clown in goal, you just know he is going to slip up. It could be too much pressure for Saints which will see too many behined the lines and over passing. Saints creat chances but dont put enough away, its will be another Stoke away !! 1-1 -------------------???? 6 points max, Saints cant handle attacking sides and these wont be a bad as Arsenal were at SMS. If we dont sort defence out by the Moan U away game then forget totally up points as the last 6 games are just as bad.

I am sick to death with clubs taking the **** out of fans. If you not going to beat the opposition anyway and have that attitude then pull out of the game. very good point and battled well 2nd half. Points at Stoke will keep us moving up the table. At least Saints turned this game around from a 1st half flat display

I think Saints have settled down to a core group of players and we will up in confidence, Saints to win 3-1.

I like the white kit and prefer it to the red one even though I have both shirts. The white one is very similar to a leisure shirt Saints has in 1984/85 when we had the Everton Semi.

When Saints got promoted 77/78. Great pitch invasion and we almost won the title. Got the programme and many from the season, brilliant season and one of the best squads.

I went and had a great time. On Carnell Coaches. Still got my programme and a few bits from hotel. Got arrested (or maybe for our saftey) with 3 other Saints fans after the match in the park as we got lost and mixed in with the German fans. The police left us in the van then came back with roll mops and chips and dropped us off near out hotel, Danke das is gute meine politiz! The Saints fans were pulling the metal fance all game. We were on upper tear and ran around to see if we could get round the graond (like wembley) only to be confronted by police with guns, we went back to out section! The reeperbahn was full of Saints and mostly carrying crates of beer, I have a photo of the gate which has the under 18 warning on but nothing else exciting!! What an experience, it was brilliant and a proper good old fashioned Saints on tour trip! Anyone got any photos??

Got back at 7.30pm in time for me to say good night to my little boy Daniel. Great performance, we had a bit of luck but overall Saints were the best team. Lalana was outstanding as also was Punch. I got £33-00 to for 3-1 @ 33/1 for £1.

Much better and at times some good football. We should have won it easy but then too much passing and some comical defending. Off to qpr next week so hope to see the 3 points then
