Two brilliant goals. And a good second half display, Bart is looking good also. We just need to keep the same week in week out. If we can add to the team in Jan then 6th really would be a target. All bottom 9 teams lost so only 14th but that will do.

This season I will settle for scoring more than letting in. Good win away, could have been a banana skin!

Better than the Brighton game but still not sure about passing the ball 15 times before deciding to cross or give away the ball. Lallana and Connolly showed exactly how we should play up front and thats make same space and shoot...simple, but why cant we do that more often. Someone needs to learn the off side rule!

If AP puts out a team with stupid tactics like this again then he will go the Burley way and thats out. Why couldnt he see from all the side to side rubbish and balls in box to keeper or with no Saints player there. This is a big worry beaten by Brighton (who the F...are they) this should ave been 5-1 to us. Big defensive organisation for 20 mins then hit em. A team of players that cant shoot or get passed the last player aint going to get up the table fast. AP dump the Burley tactics in the bin or your next in it.

If your in row E like I am you get soaked, so get a ticket in row J onwards to be safe, then you can wear just saints shirt or your red and white vest!!

Beat Norwich and I think it says we can win this. They are a comparable side to us if we had the 10 points added. So on the face of it yes this looks tough but we could have got through and then got them in SA Final two leg stage anyway. But great its at home...will be sold out easy, no problem and with a brilliant atmospher the Charlton game as great even fans still singing towards the station on away home...

I have never been able to get a ticket via the online system without either the no tickts, other error or having to get them to reset password. It has to be the worst site in the WWW out of a few billion. Still cant order, but now in so thats somehting..Anyone managed to get tickets today??

Much better than the Yeovill game but I think Saints are struggling to keep pace with this leaque. The fitness is not there 70 mins and most of the team is knackard. -10 or not we are still 10 points a drift and draws wont save us going down, only wins can keep us safe. For all the possesion there was too much passing, why cant we shoot when infrom of the goal more often, wide wide side side...we should have buried 2 chances and thats the difference not scoring enough. Saints defence is too soft and not able to keep switched on under pressure. We all could see that 3rd goal going in, why the hell dint someone take the player our early before he crossed it..BR hacked us about and got 3 points. One win in 10 games in this division says it all! saints now 9/2 to go down let us pray we get some wins

I have said it before and now again the police are `**** scared` of the so called firms with reputations and as at SMS they just cant do anything to upset them. Wont be any points deducted or ban , probally £1000 fine.

Couldnt make it but Sky Sports said Saints were better team in 1st half and deserved the goal when they got it. On the radio it sounded like a very competant display by Saints and thats all we can ask. Well done Saints

It was an entertaining game which both side played end to end football. Brentford were more experienced and as a unit. Saints could of had 2-3 more goals easy if the right decision to pass, square the ball or shoot first time was taken and thats the difference. Also the Brentford goal was seen in advance by all fans , someone should have directed things or just ran into thier forward to put him off. You cant have a goal keeper as captain as he is looking to judge the cross not organising the defence. Wingers are needed and a distributor in midfield, and to support the forwards. Its better than last season its just the teams in Div 2 are better than we thought!!

I like it too. Sort of thing you would see in atraditional put..you know the stained glass window or on a train station in europe. I am doing watercolours at the moment so perhaps I need to do a Saints one !

Time wasters if they dont want to play. You would think they both want an easy chance of getting 15+ goals a season in Div 3....you just cant understand some players.

Life appears tougher in Division 3. What will not help will be the fact Saints have a team half from last season and half will end up new faces trying to blend in to make a team. We are probally 2 months away from playing as a team, and maybe more as if new players cant make an impact straight away it just replicates what we had last season. An almost team but not quite there to ground out the 3 points when needed. Ok its early some say but Saints need 3 points soon to clear the -9. I dont want to be watching a stale mate game in January with only 24 points gained giving 15 as a real total. I think AP has the experience and contacts to get vertually half a team before January (including ones allready signed) as Saints need experience this season. Saints should really go for at least midtable and look at next season to bring on the young players. CB and wingers look a must. Oh well at least we are not in BSS!

I will pray each night that the Skate club goes bust and there ground falls apart so they have to play at Moneyfields... 10 points for admin and 10 points for being the worst club in the South for years!..and they cant read and write..another 10 points

Some observations yesturday; 1) Away fans only moved in large groups, dont they go out anywhere in 2s. Police would quickly investigate if saints fans away did this. 2) Yates was full with more away fans walking from station from next train. Now call me stupid but are the police trying to let trouble happen? Saints fans away get a far closer policing and police are less tolorent of bad languge, drinking in street hasing a slash on platform. All of these happened but no action. 3) Its my opinion and I would say its easier for the police to arrest saints fans be it home or away as they dont go round in groups of 30-50 which would put the police in a far more dangerouse situation. Hence probally why there are allways a few Saints fans nicked or taken away at home and away games. This also happens when cardiff are in Soton. and finally an odd observation but why were there so many away fans in shorts and sandles..did they mean to go to paultons Part?
