If there is any trouble outside the ubble then it will have been organised and managed by the police as they generally are useless (Milwall games, cardiff etc). Its not going to happen: 1) 657 are a small out fit and always have been, most are in prison so 50 at the most. 2) No 657 was seen out side fratton to ambush the Saints. I didnt (no did 4000 Saints)see any Skate except a few who had gone to Tesco to do thier shop and stand in the roads the convoy went along. If the pitch was that bad then: a) hoof it out of our half and dont give it away b) lob it in the box when in thier half. Doncaster and a few others did this too us and it almost worked.

But Reading can win all thier games and West Ham dont exactly have a difficult run in. The teams that saints struggle with are fit and fast teams with the whole team of players at the same level. Reading are a strong pacy team as is Blackpool, West Ham should be with thier best 11 and they will all come back soon. Today was an example of all players at different levels of fitness. Guly is just too risky to play and we cant afford a red card to drop us to 10 men, Sharp looked ok vs Doncaster but with 2/3 defenders around each time he gets the ball in a Diamond shape was a disaster even from watching from Eastleigh so that should have changed in 10 mins.

Shocking, my takeaway was more exciting than Saints play. I thought Saints were NOT a 1 man (Lambert) team? How can one player make so much differance to a teams performance. But a very stupid formation didnt help, and why didnt Jos or Fonte take the Pen, you need to wack the ball not hit it laike a snooker ball. I think Saints are over confident and think they have promotion in the bag from reading the papers and what West ham manager has said. Just hope we dont play crap vs Pompey as WH and Reading wont lose more than 3 out of 6 remaining games

Jos and Fonte if not the best then must be next best. Jos has been superb and with some brillaint crucail goals, Fonte still playing consistantly well

I think Saints will approach this game very professionally and we have a good squad to select from which will provide the options to run at them. Saints 1-0 Doncaster or Saints 2-0 Doncaster. It could work in our favour as Doncaster have to come out and attack and that just might give Saints the chances to attack. Saints seam to me to be playing better and better and even if we dont play well we get the points, so here`s to 3 hard faught points.

I hope Skates go but before the game, perhaps sewage will leak into fratton park and a bill of £800,000 to clean up will bankrupt them. I think 17 points Saints will get. I dont think it will be enough for 2nd as other teams are stronger for example West Ham, Reading and Birmingham. We have 6 so called easy or winnable games but thats where Saints come unstuck. We should have killed of last nights game 4-1, and thats againts a team with nothing to play for!!! I could se this coming months ago, to get the chance to see Saints do `The Double` over Pompey (get promoted and relegate Skates) is a once in a lifetime game so will be sold out twice over.

4 points from 2 games is good, and 3 from Leeds away brilliant. I dont care how the point are collected be that away or home BUT we need about 20 points for top 2. 86 or maybe 82 but given the teams below all have caught up and with games in hand 80 will be min to get 2nd place. Saints away to come are Millwall, Hull, Blackpool, Palace, Posh, and Boro. So going on the fact Saints wont win all thier remaining home games (just too inconsistant) then I would say we need 3 wins away = Millwall, Palace and Boro.

Saints have been getting better and the last 2 home games played as a unit. But yesturday the midfield were to far off the front men, the defending was poor at times but good at others. KD saved us from defeat as if they scored first we would not have got back into the game as just too slow. My concerns are that ; Saints dont tackle, just stand 3 meters away from opponent Saints create chances but still cant get enough shots on target Saints defence should be a lot better, so are they working too hard as the ball just cuts through the rest of the team Saints need 7 wins at least to secure a top 2 place. Thats from 11 remaining. Its a big ask. Saints struggle vs the lower teams and those who now have nothing to play for. Saints rely on Lalana, KD and lambert too much

Lick em out the football league. They paid off the FA for the cup and staying in the Prem. Pompey should have had 30+ points deducted. I want them Liguidated in 2 weeks. good point awya to biggest team in the leaque for squad. WH are 1/4 to get promoted and this point means Saints are still 3 points clear of 3rd and a win on Sat vs Derby and results going our way can get us back on track.
