Gutted, how can Chelsea win in a game they were so **** in. Good to see the England players defending everything but cant do the same for country.

Saints ****ed it up. I am looking at playoffs now. Bad ref poor defending last minute goals in 1st haf or 90 plus is happening too often. I really cant see West Ham losing their last 2 games and would expect a total of 6 or 7 goals. So we now have to get a win. Saints just are not consistand enough in the big games. Betting says Coventry cant win but I wouldnt like to say that

Boro 0 Saints 2. I think Saints will go all out for this one and will be driven on to win with the prospect of sealing promotion. Then they can step it up to get title perhaps. COYR

I thought given the importance of the game and the defeat from previouse game the players did very well. It was a good solid performance with more bite (Chaplow)in Saints closing down of players. For me the atmospher was brillaint, was right behined the goal and plenty of noise from us, at times non stop.

Looking back on the game Saints were actually very good. I think its just fans dont want the play offs again after Derby fiasco, I for one dont fancy going away for a 2nd leg to experience that again. Saints had so many chances to kill off Reading its untrue and then to let in 3 goals to a team that only had 4 or 5 shots on target!! After todays results anyhting can happen, so we just have to hope Saints win the 3 games left and West Ham slip up (its not likely bu who knows), but if we win all 3 then we are UP!

Just ordered my Ticket and Coach for Peterborough. I agree this is like a Palce game, a possible tough one but also a possible 3 points if Saints play their game and stick a few chances away. Long trip so lots of time to go over the stats before we get there and lots of time to do the same on way back when we win!...hopfully. Lets hope the players have not had a knock back from the reading game.

West Ham and Reading have easy final 3 games so its those 2 who are the favs . Saints can continue to keep plugging away behined the scenes and look to winning last 3 games if the friday big clash does not work out. The papers and pundits talk about Big West Ham and thier massive budget and squad of almost 2 teams, then Reading and their unbeatable winning run which wont come to an end as no one can see them get beat. Thats ok with Saints as it puts the spot light on them. West Ham have a slight chance of losing to Brighton but a draw could be enough to help Saints. I went to the away Game at Reading and Saints were awful, but we got a lucky draw so why not tomorrow....the luck has been with Saints all season. Saints 2 (13, 80) Reading 1 (33)

Just got back. Saints overall played well, 1st half under pressure. But Kelvin made 3 great saves. They missed to sitters and then 2nd half we were much better. Chaplow aded to the `bite` which we missed. Lambert is quality even half fit, 2nd goal just side stepped defender and bang back of net just like Le God. With results going for Saints a Brillaint win!! Le lambo stikes again...oh and Guly did make a tackle but how did he miss open goal

West Ham are by far fav for title were from start and still are given there Premier League players + the 5 they got in during the window. Every football writer says the same, `if west ham dont go up with the resources they have and have spent then its the biggest upset in Chamionship history`. You also have to look at P*mpey, look at the squad they had at the beginning of the season 11 Premiership players, how on earth did those players NOT get them 45 points??? You have to ask the question are they playing for ££££ or the club, and they still have 10 now. Saints have a 8th place team and are playing 120 % above their expected performance and thats how we are top. West Ham have the esiest run in and have done since last 10 games they dont make it and its like P*mpey not scoring vs Bury when they get relegated.

As it turns out this is Saints biggest game, could not get to 80 plus points from Blackpool or pompey game so now this is the big game to win this season. Going to have massive support and that will help. We should have enough to win

Watched the game again on football show and Saints created enough chances to win it. PFC keeper kept them in it with 4 good saves. It was a great atmospher so dont know why some say it was most silent Derby game. I was in the North Stand for our 1-0 win in the 80s and it matches that one. We do let in long range shots because w are NOT a defensive side but rather a possesion side/back off side so opponents always have a good chance to blast one in Reflecting on the game it is 1 more point towards promotion and if we keep getting points then should get top 2.

Point is a point and now that Bristol won I feel a bit better. BUT Saints defending is shocking and getting worse game by game. We gave em to goals by not bothering to close down. Wasted corners and crosses again a problem for us. On the plus Sharp is Sharp and some good attacking at times. Guly needs to go on loan to Littleton FC, I played for them and he would slot into Sunday/Sat football well. Maybe an Arm chair on the Pitch if he starts for Palace. Give him his cedit he was brillaint early on in season but not my god he is slow and cant keep the ball. Did no one tell him its a Derby game today!
