Having driven an MG and an MX-5 about 10 years ago the Mazda is a much better car. Not sure how much they are but the best of the lot then was the MR2, pretty sure it was rear wheel drive and was as much (well more as it wasn't my car) fun as my Boxster from memory.

Have to say that it has been one of the best seasons in F1 for many moons. I was really worried about the re-fuellin being taken away as that seemed to be the only way to make things interesting. To be fair to Alonso he drove the wheels off of the 3rd best car on the grid. Still, funny to see him moaning at Petrov for having the nerve to beat him.

I didn't see the match but I am sure we have lost matches like this before, and will lose matches like this in the future. Ultimately, we made a big tactical change and it failed. With some better performances from individuals we might have still won through. I have no problems with Nigel Adkins trying things and making mistakes, the thing I will be unable to forgive is if he doesn't learn from them and I expect to see changes for the P'boro bage. 30 games to go and we will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.

Personally I am surprised we went defensive. We are the form team in the league, let the opoosition try and nullify our tactics. By changing our formation we gave them a lot of credit. For next game I would hope that we stick with the 4-4-2 that has served us pretty well, 4-5-1 worked last year Lambert doesn't seem quite the figuerehead he was last year. Going 4-5-1 (defensive as it is )I would have started with Puncheon and reserved Chamberlain for an impact last third if required.
