Repetition of Stoke last week.Two shots on goal,two goals.Saints had so many opportunities to win this game,which by the way was quite entertaining for a change,but couldn't put them away.Pelle is my MOTM and Mane gets the gold for diving.RK needs to have a word with him.His tumbles left us deplete of a player where had he stayed on his feet we could have taken advantage of Spuds very poor defence. PS. Did that wonder kid Kane play today or as a Spud said in his text "he really is one of us a Spectator"! Jose had him in his pocket for the whole game.

Pelle got no help from Clattenberg yesterday.He was pulled,wrestled,pushed down as a lever and kicked frequently.It's a very lucky Shawcross because had I been in Pelle's shoes I'd have got a red for retaliation before half time.

I don't mind losing to a better team on the day.Stoke were not the better team.As so many times in the recent past the Referee lost us the match.Clattenberg was abysmal.How the hell we got four yellows and Stoke none will remain a mystery.From our lofty position in the away end we saw foul after foul by Stoke and no bookings. They only had to fall over and out came a yellow against us.Pelle was obstructed,wrestled,elbowed and kicked but neither the Ref or the Lino on our side saw anything.Roll on next Saturday when I sincerely hope we can give Spuds their cum-uppence.With a neutral Ref we can actually win a match.

After learning that Kevin(no) Friend of Saints is the Ref on Saturday my confidence in a Saints victory against Hull has diminished somewhat.He was biased in favour of the Scousers again last night and the possibility of a repeat of his performance against us should have RK and the Board refusing (a la Everton and Clattenberg) to let him anywhere near St.Marys.
