  1. Here’s my take on what I saw today. Keeper should have saved the first and possibly the second. Stuart Armstrong should be skipper and drop JWP as he appears to have lost it. Lyranco has no positional sense. Our midfield are incapable of being physically challenging and have not yet grasped the concept of passing a ball. AA and AMN should be on their way. What’s the point, in us going for another striker when we can’t even serve the two we have. Brighton were ten times better than us (mind you,at the moment the Skates would possibly do us over!) NJ has the same mediocre players Ralph left behind. However, we are currently the ‘strongest’ team in the Prem as we are propping up the other Nineteen sides. In my years of being a Saint I have seen us relegated twice. On both occasions we came back. Should we go down this time I honestly can’t see a return unless we have a really big clear out.
  2. The legacy of Ralph continues.
  3. My major criticism of JWP is that he plays far too much sideways and back, Crab Football. So many times this season he has almost stopped play by using these tactics. Why doesn't he keep the ball and go forward. We saw it many times against Newcastle on Sunday and it just leads to their defence getting back into position which means any forward progress is nullified. If and when we get our new Manager I hope he knocks this out of him. We just don't seem to attack any more.
  4. S O S Save Our Saints? No! SAME OLD SHITE
  5. Come on Lads. You can do this. Three points will take us up at least four places. COYS
  6. Looking forward to the JWPv Zaha mind games which James usually wins hands down. Hope we can continue with the aggression we saw against the Gunners. I would keep AA out on the left if only for his speed. Hope Che is fully fit and we can see him score a couple more. Lyanco has to show a little more restraint. I never predict scores but we could win this one by a comfortable margin. COYS
  7. Well the standard of mediocrity is there for all to see . Saints. 39% possession,10 shots, (Wetspam) 61% possession 25 shots. Saints ,on target 8 WH 4 corners Saints 4 WH 14. Crab football gets us nowhere. Take a walk Ralph. Please! Now!!
  8. We are already in the relegation three. A win tomorrow will only take us above Wolves as our Goal Difference is yet again, horrendous. Lose against Wetspam and we should all wave farewell to Ralph. Enough is enough.
  9. Every once in a while a ‘big’ club takes a fall. City are not infallible so we could just be the ones to wipe the smirk off the face of the doom mongers. COYS.
  10. The only way in the far distant future we have a Derby Game is if by some fluke them down the road get into the Prem. I know we were absolute shite on Friday and Ralph knows it. However they have to get into the Championship first and that’s beyond their capability.
  11. Living as I do in North Shropshire there are numerous Villains amongst us. However, I have exchanged 'opinions' with two or three and, to a man all are shit scared of our new signings. "That lad 'Tomato Ketchup is outstanding'" One even said 'you will hammer us. Che Adams don't like us and seeks to do the business' . Also, 'if we lose this Gerrard is gone.' My main advice for Saints Fans on Friday is 'Enjoy the win but, Don't buy the coffee. It's absolute crap. Have a Bovril instead.' COYS
  12. How can juggling the ball with your hand not be an offence? Yet when the ball unintentionally bounces off your arm be ruled one. Perhaps I'm a bit too long in the tooth but I am of the opinion that 'hand to ball' is offence but ball to hand is not. Then again. We are not Manure are we? Thank God!
  13. Still wearing my Saints shirt from the euphoria of last night,I had to go into town (up here in North Shropshire) to collect my new glasses. On the way back to my car a Manc in one of those vomit provoking multi-coloured shirts was sitting on a wall glued to his phone. As I walked by he suddenly went into a tirade of abuse. "Fucking South fucking hampton. We fucking beat you fair and square and you ain't nothing but moaning fucking has-beens." I chose to ignore the moron but he followed me for another twenty or so yards effing and blinding. I stopped, turned round and noticed spittle dripping from his mouth. It was at this point I looked at him and said 'What would you like to be when you grow up?' He didn't know what to say and started to splutter even more. In all honesty I felt sorry for him. Totally delusional and no doubt supports his Club in a local pub. PS. The reason the pitch was so bad last night is because of all the crap Manure left on it on Saturday.
  14. Outstanding. His parents must keep this for the family album.
  15. I'm not usually a vindictive person as I'm too long in the tooth to partake in petty squabbles but, I despise Brendan Rogers with a passion. His remarks about us when he was at Liverpool and his orgasmic response to our loss against Leicester riled me beyond comprehension. I so want us to absolutely thrash and humiliate the Foxes on Saturday to restore some of the balance. So, Ralph, please listen to a Saint of over sixty years and select a team that will not only humiliate Mr.Rogers but also show that we do have talent and when its properly adapted are as good as any other Prem Squad. COYS.
  16. I have supported Saints now for over 65 years and in spite of the continued errors which has led yet again to almost humiliation on the first day of the season I shall continue to support my Club. However, the eternal optimist that I am, and prepared to give the benefit of the doubt, I honestly believed that Ralph had actually learned some lessons from the total surrender at the latter part of last season. No! He hasn't even remedied the stupidity of selecting players that are not only mediocre but also unsuitable to play in today's PL. What has Che done wrong? AA is not a PL striker. Why in the close season did we not buy a recognised striker? Ralph has not lost the plot. He just continues to use the defunct version and it will never pay dividends. Sean Dyche is available; so as a special request Ralph. Jump before you are pushed. I am reluctant to say this but 'you have outstayed your usefulness here, Just go!'
  17. My Bro in Law is a Spud. I believe that we should be a little more optimistic as Saints are the unknown quantity and can easily cause an upset. He says we will at least get a draw. I hope he's right. COYS.
  18. Andre Marriner is in the middle. Depends what mood he’s in!
  19. For what its worth (which probably ain't much) my take on today's performance is, I saw an incredibly magnificent third goal. Wish we had someone of that calibre. Not impressed with Tella. Che never stopped running. AA worked his socks off and a couple of the newcomers will develop into excellent assets. McCarthy 2/10. Thankfully we have back up because he definitely is NOT our Number one.
  20. For once in my life I have completely run out of expletives!!
  21. After watching them against Manure last night I think we could steal three points. However, to do so we need to stop this pissing about crab football and attack. We have the players who are quite capable of this but it will depend entirely on what Ralph believes is the best method. After supporting Saints for well over 65 years I will not be surprised if we have yet another NAAFI performance. PS. NAAFI. No Ambition And Fuck all Interest.
  22. JWP whispering to Saha continuously ‘You’re a pussy’ It really winds him up! Could win this one if we stop the crab football and attack.
  23. I don’t predict scores or outcomes. I just hope to be entertained by my team and at the moment we don’t appear to have much of it. Is there a communication problem with them? Apart from FF no one is bollicking anyone. JWP should be literally kicking their arses. For those Saints who went all the way up to Burnley on Thursday you have my sincere admiration. A refund would be appreciated. However, the Shitehawks are only just along the coast and the forecast is sunny. Let’s hope that when you all return home this afternoon you are smiling. Can we actually reach the top ten before the end of the season? Three points today will help. COYS
  24. It will be sweet justice (after the sacking of Dyche) to win this one. Three more points will almost guarantee PL team next season. Always found the Burnley fans very friendly. Perhaps it’s because we have similarities both on and off the pitch.
  25. Finding it extremely difficult to whip up any enthusiasm for this match. I have this awful feeling that Saints will perform their NAAFI ( No Ambition And F all Interest) display. Come on Saints prove me wrong.
