or not... https://atlas.media.mit.edu/en/visualize/tree_map/hs92/export/deu/show/8703/2016/

Except it really really was. Obviously not the prior QE in response to the financial crisis... the *surprise* QE increase following the Brexit vote. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2016/08/04/bank-of-england-unveils-four-pronged-stimulus-package-in-bid-to/

And don't forget the massive QE injection to prop the economy up

One of the worst pieces of officiating I've ever seen. Was behind the goal and right in line with the edge of the 18 yard box.

In theory anyone can move between Schengen countries without border checks ... point is that the countries fully trust each other and going into the Schengen area is the point someone would be checked. (by definition anyway if they wanted to check only some people they'd have to check everyone ... in other words what the UK does).

Awesome thanks :-) They have last season's going nice and cheap too.

Supposing this is true as presented for a second (and reality is way more complex of course) If we leave the EU, how would it prevent this from happening in the future? What additional incentive does the EU have (as a result of Brexit) to not loan to third party countries? How will UK's influence on these kinds of decisions change?
-
So then you are for a people's vote on the brexit deal, right? Rather than leaving it up to MPs.
-
Yeah the unintended consequence is that now there is much more incentive on players to surround the ref to change his mind. Introducing limited appeals is one option. Or alternatively make it a bookable offence ... or maybe more harshly... if you appeal (making the VAR sign), then it automatically forfeits the use of VAR in your favour. I think the ref still needs to make the final call. Anything else undermines his authority and suddenly he's not the "real" ref. But he should get *told* it's a VAR referral and he needs to go look at the screen, rather than judging for himself (e.g. the Colombia headbutt on Henderson is a case in point). That would also help deal with the above point as the ref has less control of when VAR is called for (but still acts the ultimate decision maker for applying laws of the game).

So why do you keep trying to prove how great the UK economy is doing?
-
So... what's the point... Brexit is hurting everyone, not just the UK? Or that Germany is still growing faster than us despite this?

12 years ago he was 14 FFS...!

"go our own way" -> meaningless nothing "print our own money" -> already can and do "raise interest rates" -> yep, this too "set trade tariffs" -> you what? you want to have less trade? "honour the democratic will of the blah blah" -> circular argument, not a pro-brexit argument Yep, simple is the word.

They would love to, but it wouldn't support their objectives to develop football in to new markets* *only the rich ones

Uxbridge - shopping centre with reasonably priced all day parking right next to the tube.

I assumed it was going to be a thread looking in to the psychological reasons we keep conceding vital goals in stoppage time, that had for some reason been moved to the lounge due to veering badly off topic. Disappointed.

Thank **** someone else was watching the game.

I'll be happy with that just to make Dalek wrong

Yes... once he was on a yellow card he needed to be a bit more careful... but that first yellow card was astonishingly harsh.

Great Escapes - past and present ... is this the best ?

Absolutely... Swansea have imploded. The Swansea game was originally scheduled for March 17th. At that time, Swansea had 31 points (from 30 games), and were in reasonably decent form. Whereas we had just been badly tonked by Newcastle. Thanks to the FA cup fixtures (for both sides), it got rescheduled... Swansea managed only 2 further points in the intervening 6 games before playing us last night. I guess that's the bit of luck we've been missing. -
That's for refusing to even play. What if we have 5 players sent off and the game can't continue? (or however many are needed)
-
So 2 minutes then
-
it's 9 better. Will be at least 10 better if we win tonight.
-
Indeed... normally it's the opposite and they give them as soon as about half the ball is over the line.

Mind you, that was from Andronikou ...
