  1. FFS please please please give us a win.......... Sick and ****ing tired of the same old **** season after season......
  2. I fully concur with the above. Excellent signing and tightens up the defence for sure!
  3. I was certainly hoping for a better start than we've had but it's inevitable given that AP didn't have a proper pre-season to do the work he's been doing over the last few weeks. Therefore I'll be more than happy with finishing outside the bottom four please! Bit pessimistic I know but realistic I believe. Next season could and should be very different and I'll be expecting us to compete at the very top of the table. By season 2013/14 we should be back where we belong and sitting comfortably in mid-table........
  4. I think most people have mentioned all there is to mention about this good for nothing mercenary! I'm afraid he epitomises all that is wrong with football nowadays. Why are there no MLT's around anymore? Good riddance to bad rubbish.....
  5. Sick and tired of feeling sick and tired?..... ...you need to support another team. It's the only way! Absolutely gutted for the millionth time in my life as a Saints fan. When we will ever be able to defend a lead until the final whistle. Age old problem regardless of the management set up etc. I'm lost for words and solutions now.......
  6. Not at all surprised...actually more surprised that we took the lead and played well for long periods.......... Let's hope the lads can take this on now to Saturday and start getting stuck into that 8 point deficit before it becomes a noose around our necks! I think we'll be a hard team to beat at SMS this season and that could be the key to our survival.
  7. As above, stay and fight or **** off. We don't need any half hearted efforts this season. We've had enough of that since we dropped out of the Prem!!!
  8. Thoroughly looking forward to this one. Sun will be shining. M25 will be clear of traffic!!! Nice couple of cold ones before the game and watch Saints win 3-0. Trust me, it's going to happen. We're overdue a good win.
  9. Didn't get to the game today due to other commitments, but from what I've read 1-1 is a very good result - especially as we were on Sky! Looking forward to the Brentford game now where hopefully we'll be just one win from 0 points!!!!
  10. We ALWAYS lose the first game of the season - FACT. We ALWAYS lose when we're on Sky - FACT. We haven't exactly set the world alight pre-season....... Therefore I predict a Saints win 1-0! (Though my head is really saying 2-0 to Millwall)
  11. Not overly excited at first but on reflection think this is a great appointment. An English manager with a proven track record at all levels and plenty of contacts and influence to sign decent players and loanees. And the type that can take us up and out of the lower leagues and keep us moving in the right direction. Bright days ahead I think.......really looking forward to the new season now.
  12. My thoughts exactly. Accept it and move on FFS. The sooner the better.......
  13. No from me. Nothing personal aganst the guy just think we need a whole new start from top to bottom.
  14. Bye bye. Couldn't give a ****. Last one turn out the lights please.......
  15. Letting Pearson go and bringing those two Dutch muppets to this club ****ed us over big time! FACT.
  16. I will not cease from mental fight, Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand, 'till we have built Jerusalem, On Southamptons green and pleasant lands...... -10 now or next season...who gives a ****? Bring it on. Let's be havin' ya' as one famous chairperson once said. We'll be back, bigger and better than ever, though I have had 4 pints, 2 glasses of wine, 2 JD & cokes and 4 tequila's so what do I know?
  17. Great result and cracking goal but my heart still tells me it's not enough after **** results against Charlton, Watford & Wolves. But you never know....We've been in the ****e many, many times before and come through smelling of roses.
  18. It just get's worse and worse...... 2-0 down inside 10 minutes is a ****ing disgrace for a team that are meant to be scrapping for survival. Just don't know what to suggest anymore. Completely hopeless..... I feel utterly sick.
  19. Started brightly with the flick on for Euell's horrible miss but faded thereafter.....a bit like our season!
  20. Are they for real? Watford are the most consistently **** fans I've ever had the displeasure of having to witness home and away. You should be ashamed of yourselves you muppets. It was like a bloody morgue in there except for our singing. Come back when you've got a decent ground and a history to shout about.......
  21. Throat still recovering even now but great night. Many more of those to come whatever league we start in come August. COYR's.
  22. Just back from the game and thoroughly enjoyed it as did my sons. Great atmosphere (well done to those that travelled further than I had to) and really a game that we very easily could have won. But Watford being our bogey team it was typical for them to score immediately after Euell missed a sitter that I think would have been the platform for a 3-1 win. But hey-ho, it's not over until it's over. 1 point is better than none and it was sooooo sweet when that wonderful free kick found the top corner in the last minute. Why didn't Size take the one in the dying seconds?!!! Thought Ryan Smith looked impressive at times and generally good effort all over the park from everyone. Agree that Saga should start against Wolves - especially with his goal scoring record at their place! Keep the faith.
  23. That they may be, but they'd do a bloody good job for us and get us moving onwards and upwards where we belong and more likely to stay once we get there. I'd take any of those three right now if they'd be willing to come. Failing that I'd give Micky Adams or Ian Dowie a chance.
  24. Looking forward to the game even more now we've got a good turn out. Don't fancy us much for a result and we might even be 10 points poorer by kick off, but will have some fun anyway. You never know with relegation confirmed (assuming we are docked points) the players might play with freedom and run riot. Then again this is Saints!
  25. R.I.P SFC. As far as I'm concerned it's all over now. And I've already bought my tickets for the Watford game! Can we take the 10 point hit this season and at least (if we survive the summer) start with 0 in L1 next season?
