That has cost the skates £16m, or means that a new buyer is going to need to chuck another £16m into the hole... We were unlucky in our relegation year from the PL, as the next year parachutes nearly doubled, however I am willing to accept it as fate as it all turned out rosy eventually! Tick tock for the few, not looking good for them at all in this shameful demonstration of deceit. No interest in buying (basically) nothing from anyone. The Icon Sports Management skate-player-firesale will begin in a couple of weeks, to raise as much wonga to (ironically) pay off football related debts... Fratton Park is valued as an asset... Surely it can only be perceived as a LIABILITY?! Ali Al Faraj is on linked-in, not that that is difficult to do http://sa.linkedin.com/pub/ali-al-faraj/14/10b/a82 Although I am convinced he doesn't actually exist and was set up as Chanrais front to do one on the Gadymack contingent I remember people talking of an 'Arab vs Israeli power struggle' being played on the pitch at Fratton many hundreds of pages ago, I believe this is starting to become clearer now... Chanrai is taking on Arcadi & Son at a game of Chess, overseen by chess enthusiast Al Fahim... Storrie, Grant, Astro, the fans, cancer charities etc are all pawns in a ruthless battle of corruption, deceit and gangland rule... Il be glad when its all over, some one whack this stinking dying flapping skate disaster story over the head so business on the south coast can return to normal... Come on HMRC, You can beat this sh1t!
-
If this is true then it really is staggering. Further highlights the bizarre Israeli business feud which the skates are wrapped up to there necks in. I take it Gadymaks tickets didn't arrive in the post?

Swapping broadcasting royalties with blood stained cash I think, tv money in the fizzy leagues is vastly reduced. I guess they could swap season ticket money with dirty funds, but knowing the 'few' that moneys probably dodgy already! Found this in the main bored; http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/sport/paulkelso/100006898/mawhinney-urges-football-league-to-tackle-financial-reform-in-parting-shot/ It left me thinking that all of Mawhinneys concerns revolve entirely around poopey, and there disgraceful/criminal/immoral behaviour. Abusing the taxman, using HMRC as a bank loans, then defaulting on public money... Overpaying players at the expense of other clubs such as Wolves... Agents, eg, Willy Mckay, Redknapp and Storrie etc Football creditors rule, not paying St. Johns Ambulance, Terry the builder etc... Encouraging owner/director engagement with governing bodies: Ali Al Mirage! Owners/benefactors lumping bridging loans on there club and creaming interest: Arkadi/Sasha, Comical Ali and Baloo Changalang! Fit to trade/ unsustainable debt: Check! So if Lord Mawhinney leaves his legacy with these plans being taken forward, the skates will continue to be the most morally reprehensible football club in the land. Im getting a bit TIRED of all this, the press started to expose the skates for the disgrace that they are, but they seem to have laid off, and they were barely scratching the surface in the first place. Im ANGRY that HMRC backed down, they should have pulled the trigger for the greater good. I take COMFORT that in a couple of years time, we will have finally gone full circle (SFC). As we charge back up to the top of the game, the skates cling on to anything they can as the bailiffs kick the doors in, this 5-6-7 year blip will be all but a distant memory. And I can go back to not really having a clue what little poopey are up to, just like it used to be! UTS

Gate sharing may provide a more level playing field financially, however i do not think it will be the solution to un-sustainability within the game. Owners such as ours can provide the 'financial gift' to once again strengthen competitive positioning. The away team could perhaps keep their share of the gate, which is normally around 10-15% of the home teams ground capacity. For example, Saints take 2k fans to Swindon, and we retain the monies generated from the 2k away support... This could also stimulate away day initiatives by clubs themselves as there would be an increased financial incentive! Agents should be FL/PFA employees, I cant stand the thought of an agent trying to lure, say, Adam Lallanna away to become a fringe player at another club for no obvious reason other than financial gain. Saints ensure all (most) of its academy players are represented by the academy officials and the players parents, and good on them. I cant see how our fine custodians Mr Cortese and Liebherr would have any problems with any of Mawhinneys suggestions, it almost read like Cortese himself composed the letter (in the Times blog)! Ensuring directors and benefactors 'gift' money to there club over a loan would be a fantastic rule, and fortunately for us, it appears Herr Liebherr is already conducting himself in this manner. You only have to look at the Skates to see how directors loans can become a 'future threat'. In fact, the skates would have been executed immediately if all these potential rules were enforced on them this season (loans, tax-bank, agents etc). It seems to be a universal acknowledgment that players wages need to be reduced, but it has to start from the top, the PL. The PL pay players big money, and can excuse it with claims that the players are the core product, which generate the revenues for the business, and should be rewarded accordingly. That is debatable, however football is a competitive sport, and teams in the league below (and below, and below, and below etc) will increase wage expenditure speculatively in a punt to achieve future prosperity through promotions, if it fails those contracts still have to be honored and the spiral begins! The PL should be the benchmark, setting the standards as the global market leader, not League 2 (4)!

Looks like he hasn't worked out who or what his consortium is yet! Just a load of caveats bounded by a large serving of guff and hot air!

JPT rules require participating clubs field there strongest team/most frequent players? Which can be overcome through 'injuries' i guess to an extent. I'd like us to do it Arsenal style and give young players and those outside of the matchday squad get a run out...

You can buy anti hangover tablets in places like boots i believe For me (today!) the usual: 3 piece variety meal @ KFC, grease falls to the pit of your stomach, restores order, never fails!

Very unsmug thread for those STILL waiting for tickets

Same, bring a few beers for the queue! Half of our tickets arrived (second of two orders), which produced a half baked sigh of relief, although it looks like I will still be queuing up outside wembley with all the others that incurred the £3 per ticket booking fee! I guess the other half of our order is still stuck in the van that broke down on Friday (still amazed at that excuse)! Disappointing... However... Que Sera Sera! -

F'sure, crashes are not unusual, and I hope no-one was hurt at all. TNT provide a delivery service for clients such as SFC. If they were to have an issue, such as an accident, I believe they would have agreed a duty of care to adhere to. Postal vans with many thousands of pounds worth of product should not go missing for two and a half days, regardless of the weekend, its the 21st century! I currently paint a picture of some pranged van full of tickets piled up in some breakers yard that the mechanic hasn't discovered it yet! On the same note, SFC have a duty to communicate to customers, which I feel they have failed to do in this instance. They have a back up plan, and i confident the situation will eventually (about 11am sunday @ wembley) be resolved. However, that back up plan is going to cost considerable expense and disruption so I hope you understand it is a frustrating situation to be put into uninformed.. JIT gone hopelessly wrong! If this happened a week ago, no problem, plenty of time to buffer and restore the supply side of things. Instead I am treated to half baked analogy's, stories, reasons, excuses and denials from tired staff in call centers who are sick of the grief they are getting! We had two different orders, from different fortnights, bank accounts etc... which appear to be on the same van? I don't think our £30 booking fee has provided us with value for money. Cortese said it was priced separately to provide transparency, to reflect the extra levels of process required to get the tickets to our door. I think this is a positive move and perfectly acceptable, if they didn't screw it up! Public affairs nightmare on the horizon! Im sure the FA have a part to play in this, which may be confusing a ticket sales team in uncharted waters, through the insistence of printing the tickets at wembley, being sent by via courier (TNT) to royal mail etc We have been unlucky... I will retract my rant/statement and forgive all in exchange for my tickets tomorrow! -

I wonder why they didn't mention the TNT van crashing on Friday? How strange, the girl on the phone told me this morning that the final dispatch van crashed at 5pm on Friday, but they didn't find out until yesterday afternoon! Terrible luck, it really is, I am also staggered that they didn't find out until yesterday afternoon. But its all ok, you can collect on the day!!! To reassure you, 'A' member of staff will be kicking about somewhere, sorry 'based at wembley'... that is assuming that individual dosent have an accident two and a half days before and goes unnoticed! I have complete and utter faith, not even a hint of skepticism! How utterly disappointing -
So who's received their wembley tickets in the post yet?

Absolutely! The JPT/FL Trophy competition involves Leagues One & Two, comprising 48 teams, way more than half of the English professional league structure! Add to that the increased quality of League One this season with all the 'big' teams involved it could be argued that this way a very tough competition to be in, and we have done very well to progress to the final, beating Charlton, Norwich and MK:dons on the way... not bad! A bit of spin for the 'its embarrassing' gang; as were a club clearly (finally) on the up, we may not have many opportunities to win the FL Trophy, so lets lord it up all the way back to the PL... Keep your ears peeled next time Stoke are on the telly, they always sing about there JPT victory! If ML, NC, AP and the TEAM wish to celebrate any potential cup success, il be there to applaud and celebrate with them whether its an open top bus, open day or a lap of honor. No need to be embarrassed, worry about ego, street cred, just enjoy, celebrate and have a party! I really dont care how grand the method of ceremony may be, I just love enjoying the good times, and good times we have ahead! Up the Saints!

Storrie Keeps his job, 85 ordinary people lose theirs... Discuss...
holepuncture replied to Daren W's topic in The Lounge
I guess if he is released, he may cry wolf about the money laundering ring? Or is he sticking firm to his employment contract terms for a big payoff, regardless of the damage it does to the 'club he loves' blah blah blah what does really annoy me is that IF STORRIE WALKED AWAY, AT LEAST HALF OF THE 85 SACKED YESTERDAY COULD HAVE KEPT THERE JOBS!!! Disgusting... Will the fans be singing, 'there's only one peter storrie' on the weekend!?! I also note only David James (well done to him at least) has offered to defer there wages to save regular employees from the dole queue. Skates FC = The shame of 'the beautiful game' -
I have lodged a serious (!) expression of interest on behalf of some liquid heavy individuals, I have requested more information on there income (!?!) and debt situation. For him to talk about a man like HMRC like that, well hes gone down in my estimation... I would LOVE IT if I were able to take them for a ride, LOVE IT! COYR & COYHMRC

Mike Hall (Chanrais spin doctor) was talking to SSN a few minutes ago. When talking about the potential savior Victor Cattermole, Hall said his people (Storrie & Chanrai etc) requested to meet his people at their offices... Hall said he was speaking to a 22-23 year old representative who stated they dont have an office and they would have to meet at his dads house! Micky Fialka eat your heart out! ... This was only a minute after Cattermole himself gobbing off about his 200m euro bank facility ... Hall commented on Cattermoles bank facility, and said it was from an unrecognisable financial institution!

My skate mate reckons the players have been fronting some of the staff wages, people like the tea lady, kit man etc... No idea if true, but it fits with an article I read a while ago where a player (Hermet Hieridersson I think) was saying they players were running out of patience and were going to come clean about what is really going on with the players and staff payment. Fair play to the skate players if true, shame on the club as per usual!
-
Same! Is it TCWTB's house number or something!?!
-
The taxman will not let this drop, they have unfinished business with the skates! Years of investigation and expenditure by HMRC, the old bill etc Admin or liquidation, they will get very little either way, they wont just roll over!
-
What a lovely yet hilarious gesture for the skates, they should feel right at home! Be warned OB, they will dismantle it and take as much tin away with them as they can, to finally get started on getting nottarf krap up to scratch for their world cup bid!

This is what normally catches me out! It is incredibly frustrating, at 24 years old, but im pretty resigned to it with my youthfull good looks! I used to buy alcohol at 16 years old from the same supermarkets that now id me at 24! A clear indication of tightening of the rules! Although on the occasion I do not have any identification, it is a nightmare. And when I do, it is depressing watching some cashier counting the years back on their fingers to work out how old i am, just take 18 years off todays date you moron! FWIW, after being asked 'how old are you'... '24'... 'have you got any proof/id'... I remind the dolly that an undercover police sting (eg: 14yr old girl who looks 25) must disclose her real age on demand, they cannot lie.

Strangely enough, I was in my local pub last night and a chap was drinking with (a not very close drinks in the same pub as me) friend of mine. This chap turned out to be a police officer, who enjoys working football matches and regularly does the Aldershot games (were north hants area). He was gutted that he was surplus to requirements for the Saints v Skates as he really wanted to go along... What he then said caught my attention, as he said pretty much exactly the same thing as your OB friend. Along the lines of ''we get intell before matches, we have heard that a load of millwall fans will be going down to cause trouble'' This chap is a devout west ham fan, so I doubt he read/found his intell on here, although its possible he may have read it on a west ham forum i suppose! I have no reason to suspect it was anything other than a genuine comment though. All in all it matches up with your story, very coincidental! Despite all this, I still cant see anything happening!
-
Heard a similar rumor last night from a skate 'mate', £3.5m though... they will struggle to see out the season, I responded. I guess maybe storrie decided to keep a low profile by hiding under his desk today, due to his previous with the HMRC and cheating public revenue!
-
If the skates make it to saturday, Us Saints, St.Marys, Markus Liebherr and Nicola Cortese will show these chancers what a real football club is all about.... Comical Ali Al Mirage and Baldrick Changrai will see what £15m will get you down on the south coast, great fanbase, uefa elite stadium, etc etc... I really hope they're watching, all of them, lets show them what its all about. I want Changrais jaw to hit the ground when he realises he has plunged £20m on nottarf krap, compared to what the real big boys got next door for so much less! Up the Saints!
