As always the figures don't stack up! Wallace had a release clause of around £250K, that is what the skates got for him. The mind boggling agents fee figures compared to their League 2 piers is to do with signing all the 'bestest' players on loan or heavy contracts. If they fall short this season it will be a spectacular failure of epic proportions with all of that cash going to agents. And let's not forget the wage bill, far far eclipsing their League 2 piers. They may be joint top on points difference, but they're bottom of the league in wage to points. In terms of agents brown envelopes, as always they're the undisputed and outright leader. They do cheer me up in the mornings, might even have a bacon roll with tomato sauce in honour of the prolific FO poster. PMSL

I forgot the skates were hosting a cup final last night. How utterly brilliant, thank you all, I have really enjoyed the write up, and of course the hilarious result. I wasn't in the best of moods this morning but now I have a spring in my step. Shalala PMSL

Great phrase! I'm an MLG fan, I like his straight up automation style responses

Daft question, it would look bloody superb and you know it! Perhaps Halo can upload/download link it so we can print off some high resolution copies for next Xmas (?).

Excellent, one of the finest pieces on this thread without any doubt. Thanks for bringing her back in to play, it really brings back the memories and reminds you what a wild ride it has been watching the skates rolling circus. PMSL

Absolutely shocking footage, I fear that this is our future and we're welcoming it. And as she says, if they want robberies, rape & violence, they don't need other cultures to produce it for them. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=8ac_1455236332 http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=8ac_1455236332 I guess it comes down to the whole 'who owns what' debate. What you may think you own, others may think they have a right to take it. Those that are not strong and strong willed enough may have it taken from them? Look at the poor French bloke just trying to safeguard his home and family. I suspect we may see great cultural challenges in the near future FFS

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIfMAP4Q1yk Stumbled across this earlier whilst trying to trace former skate Antonov I get that he has pre-prepared his statement, but I couldn't argue against a single point he makes. Fair play. -
The 48% will get bored of that in the long run, and stop going altogether, then they'll try to cash out their shares to comical consequences. The Championship is the bestest league IMO for the humble football fan, though the skates will never compete there. 35K, dont be daft, they cant fill a 21/20/19K (depending on health and safety certificates), they couldn't in the prem, they couldn't in the Champ, they couldn't in L1 and they can't in L2, it's a deluded dream fuelled by envy of their neighbours east and west that they could do so, it's simply nonsense proven by fact. Look at the competition in the Championship, look at the infrastructure of the clubs, look at the money involved, look at this seasons parachutes. Don't even think about the new money flowing into the division by relegated clubs who will be able to retain the future cash by way of not being a tinpot insolvent money laundering cesspit. Even if they finally manage to rip up the fourth div, they will be out-scaled in the third tier by numerous clubs on both a financial and infrastructural level. If they fluke it to the Championship, then they at best will yo-yo back to L1. Look at clubs larger than them for examples in the past few seasons, the skates can't compete with those kind of yo-yoer's no matter how much tcwtb p*sses himself. They are nothing, they should take inspiration from Eastleigh, and look to rebuild, though with the landlock situation they're in it will take generations. As much as the deluded few don't like it, Moneyfields is still the future for them.

Love this classic quote, good ol' Trousers. Getting a bit nostalgic here, my goodness it has been a brilliant ride, on the show continues to rumble on in the bestest of ways. Remember this legend?: And what a read: http://www.theguardian.com/sport/david-conn-inside-sport-blog/2010/feb/03/portsmouth-mark-jacob-premier-league Though my favourite guys for different reasons, mr 'I want my money back' Balu Chinny and the legendary storrieteller: We now have the likes of champagne iain stumbling around, and that scouse nutter who likes a fry up, so there is always hope for more hilarity ahead. Should have done that when sober. I have a cracking portfolio.

I've been in "ftse" nightclubs where you buy drinks based on the stock value of the drinks, a great laugh. This looks good fun too and I have no issues if it isn't fca regulated etc, it's lite betting. Might have a flutter on a small portfolio. Cheers for the heads up.

Nice. Terrorism comes in a wide variety of forms. -
Absolute gold, thanks for posting it, I was hoping someone would! I love the opening sentence by the interviewer, "bad luck Paul, where's it gone wrong for pompey this afternoon" in such a dry and patronising tone, brilliant. Cook could even mount a challenge to the great Clotterill in the post match meltdown interviews, if they continue their capitulation. PMSL

Israel has a proactive approach to the migration crisis and one that takes into consideration its own internal affairs too: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-35475403 They give them shelter and safety for a period of time, then offer them a financial package and logistical assistance to relocate to a safe host country more assimilated to their culture. It certainly would be a more palatable solution for the locals then what we are seeing in Germany, Sweden etc with violence, sexual assaults and crime causing societal destruction. It might not be the answer but certainly a model to be studied. -
I was just praising our keepers performance to an Arsenal supporter, enough of that, long live Barry Roche. PMSL, that is a very long drive home.

Debate on BBC1 The Big Question discussing islam in Britain. The muslims on the show seem deeply divided within their own faith and the interpretations of it, apostate killings, demonising women, perversions, terrorism etc. They do seem to come across as a very confused bunch, agressive too. Some of the participants have some frankly sick views. They're are their own worst enemy, and they're are a danger to us all. -
It's really funny that they haven't been selected. A cup final against the mighty Bournemouth, this will be there biggest occasion for many years. They must be absolutely gutted! BBC football focus was at fratton earlier, so they may have got a couple of hundred in for that, should keep champagne iain flowing for the afternoon.

That is appalling, an asylum worker murdered by a 15 year old migrant. 15. Perhaps only the police and military should be able to supervise these people as civilians are at an ever increasing and unacceptable level of risk? This is our future ladies and gentlemen. Look out for each other. -

I caught it half way through, from what I saw the challengers didn't openly declare their faith, though you're probably right in that they are muslims based on their appearances. Deeply disturbing footage nonetheless, "the chickens have come home to roost", it troubles me that these vermin lunatics can roam our capital city like this. Whilst our government may have let this happen (for whatever reason), we do not have to respect these people, we do not have to talk to them, we do not have to trade with them, they are terrorists and those decisions are a choice we have the freedom to make. Stay vigilant. -
A bloke at the pub claimed earlier (amongst other examples), that they would come back. "You have to with 20k in league two." "They'll always be sh*te though, because they can't be anything better, they're a transient population, they come and go, nobody stays, they'll always be sh*te" "Knicker wearing people" In a northern accent. Nice bloke.

Disgraceful. Moroccan too which is ridiculous. These "daily offerings" will only continue now that the political/media-blackout can of worms has been opened. This is the future we have brought upon ourselves -

Sadly this was predicted and inevitable, Isis even told us this is what they would do. In other news, over 500 cases of assault now reported in Cologne. These vermin are a danger to us all. -

Very nice of you to sacrifice the women and children of Germany in the name of 'responsibility', I'm sure the recent victims agree that they personally owe a great deal to these vermin, who are not asylum seekers in any way whatsoever (as they have marched through numerous countries who are signed up to the UN refugee convention). I strongly disagree with you flippant attitude and I am not prepared to let innocent women and children take 'responsibility' for the barbarism that exists in the ME, barbarism that has existed for generations, barbarism that will continue for generations. The German people welcomed them with sweets and teddy bears at the train stations, and this is how they're repaid. What we are witnessing is beyond belief in modern Europe, it is sickening, and unfortunately we will be having to live with this for the rest of our lives.
