  1. Great to be back in my old seats in block 3 row cc last night and a great result. Just wish they would open them for every game, it's the one thing I would change about SFC at the moment.

i think you are better off in the pub than in shares right now, my portfollio is down so i will just stick it out for the long term, which may turn out to be very long term considering the greek default, possible breakup of the euro, recapitalisation/nationalisation of europe's banks with money from every big nation inc china/usa etc.....i think we are seeing a process that will be game changing of historical importance and could change the monetry system we use...i don't think the markets give a toss about the bailouts, they will do whatever they need to do to make money regardless of the consquences..will have to wait untill greece has gone down the loo (will take a few flushes lol) then i will take a punt on some shares in the banks as they will come back good in time.....thoughts anybody???
  3. never been to hamburg but when i consider the difference between the uk and europe when it comes to nights out it makes me realise how sh1t this country is. bars close to early, few bars cater for middle age clientle or those who want a more relaxed scene, the cost of drinks is a joke, food is poor (unless you spend >£10 for a main course), service is awful (please can we have table service like the REST OF THE WORLD rather than put up with the bull**** of trying to get served at the bar), hygine is terrible (try having your staff wipe the table and remove the empty glasses when customers leave instead of chatting behind the bar and expecting the next customers to put up with it), toilets are disgusting (do landlords not inspect these areas and do basic things like ensure there is toilet paper/soap or even a lock on the door - in some pubs Alex/Gobblets these issues go on for years)and restricting just a few bars to late opening means all the p1ss heads end up in the same place so trouble is enevitable, and people who just fancy staying out later end up going home because they don't want to be in an atmosphere of fear and voilence (me). it called customer service (customer, you know, the people who pay your wages).
  4. nice collection - i have an original pair of 'made in france superstars' on ebay at the moment but fear i am asking too much for them. i had over 50 pairs of superstars at one point. fav's are a pair of white, blue/red pair of bungerts but recently getting back into gazzles'. rom, samba super and campus you also can not go wrong with. also have a few pairs of converse all stars and a pair of onisuka tigers but it's adidas that do it for me. puma suade/clyde are also classics worth a mention. nike's are soulless and cultureless yankee rubbish and they are for loosers!
  5. i have this shirt signed by matty on the front and rest of team on the back, i think west ham also had this shirt, with their badge thos of course...i like it
  6. bad collar, bad socks, does not look like a saints kits for some reason, maybe the white sleeves, but i liked some of the mock-ups with white sleeves so will wait till i see it in the flesh, also would have liked to revert to navy blue shorts (much darker than ath madrid) which would make it different from any other kit out there. for the away kit i would like to keep the sash, pref navy blue shirt w/yellow sash, yellow shorts, navy blue socks with yellow tops
  7. also a missed opportunity to return to navy blue shorts which would have made our kit different, oh well...
  8. just another football kit really, does not look like a saints kit for some reason, maybe the white sleeves? do not like the collar or the socks. was hoping for something i would want to buy but i will be keeping my wallet in my pocket this time but will wait till i see it in the flesh first but i prefer the traditional look when it comes to kits, modern additions like daft collars look naf.
  9. Broadsword calling Danny Boy......
  10. someone could tweet the agent back and ask him what he means etc........?
  11. only 15 club badges shown, one more space left, they are bound to go for us...........
  12. no offence but get a life, pitch invasions are one of the best things you can experience as a fan, enjoy all you saints fans!!!!

been checking out SGZ - think it could be a rerun of the CRND senario, price drops about concerns with the PP, get PP and whoosh! http://www.dpea.scotland.gov.uk/Documents/qJ12912/J168420.pdf 24th march could be key date. might get in if it goes below 4p - good luck with this one.

  19. made my weekend, i had bad news about my job today, "at risk" so will prob be redundant this time next week, but this has really cheered me up! well done adam, NC, NA.
  20. you may want to re-phrase that bit mate?
  21. £70k per year is a very good wage, per week is a joke - i always wonder if the people drawing up these contracts realises it say 'per week'. i could pay off my 200k mortgage in one month, but it's going to take me 28 years. bunch of wayne kerrs!
  22. 85 made reduntant, not good news.
  23. i have this signed by MLT on the front and rest of squad on the back!
  24. cool, i'm £50 up!
  25. i was thinking about this the other day. NC and ML say they want to run sfc as a sustainable concern, the only way to do this in the prem will be through bigger gates. we may have got over 30k all the time in the prem but it never gave us the revenue to really compete or stay out of debt. build it before we get to the prem to ensure the revenue will come in, we will never be able to bank roll a prem team and expansion at the same time. remember ML is NOT going to bankroll us for ever. if you want to compete with the best you have to do it at all levels, and that means a big ground - our fishy friends proberbly wish they had sorted out a new ground as they have proved you can't compete with a small ground.
