It's almost impossible, given how everyone had predicted our season to go at the start. Most expected us to be mid table, a few predicted playoffs, I didn't see any predictions that suggested we'd maintain our home winning streak into December and sit on top of the pile.

I agree with this, think the fact that quite a bit of time has passed has lowered my hostility towards him. When he went I was pretty glad, now I think he'd be a good player to have in the squad if, as you say, he can get his head right and re-build those bridges.

'Maybe getting promotion' would be a pretty garbage season given our start. You're right the game isn't over yet, but if we do go on to lose now there's no reason to assume it'll define our season. Or cause us a potential 'mini-crisis'. You wrist-slitters do make me laugh though.
