Yes, it’s frustrating and frankly unfair that we are at a disadvantage to the other teams with forced games in hand. I’d agree that lose tomorrow and it will be the play offs almost definitively , but win tomorrow and our two in hand and we are right back in the mix. Obviously the odds are against us and it’s more probable we won’t than we will, but we went 25 unbeaten, that’s fucking awesome and proves we are a match for any other team in the championship. I’m not going to write us off yet, still too many games left and I still think we will do Ipswich tomorrow.

Beat Ipswich, we are 7 points behind the current leaders, win our two games in hand, we are 1 point behind current leaders, not impossible at all, it was only a few games ago that everyone had written off Ipswich, after their bad form, now they are top. Yes I agree that throwing away leads is so frustrating, but we are dominating games and could quite easily go on a decent run, so although games are running out fast now, it’s certainly not impossible for us to get right back in the mix, so I will stay glass halve full at the moment, well until Kat sings.

Leeds and Leicester have both got difficult games and both could easily drop points, especially as hull and Norwich want the play offs, hopefully we will beat Ipswich, which I think we will and come Monday night, things could be looking a lot better. Yesterday we were the much better side, against a side just outside the top six and but for the appalling finishing, would have demolished them, automatic promotion certainly ain’t done yet.

Haven’t they tried to gain an advantage by overspending, ok it didn’t work out for them last year, but they still have maintained an advantage in the championship this year with the calibre of players, so it seems unfair that they could return to the prem having used this advantage. Surely the correct thing would be to deduct them points now, so they don’t achieve this. It’s like Everton , 10 points reduced to 6, pathetic really, looks like they really do want that lovely new stadium being showcased in the prem.

Yes, saw Fraser seem to hobble, after a long sprint down the wing, thought oh no at the time, but seemed to run it off luckily. Thought Sam Ameyaw looked very very good. He is going to be one hell of a player, one of those ‘ enjoy him while he’s here’. The Ref seemed appalling, but that was from a perspective of watching live from the southampton end. From anyone watching a stream, was he poor?

I think both would have been ruled out fairly quickly, plus I think we’d have the penalty for the foul on Che given. I’m not a fan of VAR in the slightest, but todays game highlighted how poor the officiating is and overall it’s been very poor.I think it we have benefited from the lack of it at our games though, with tight decisions going our way on the whole. Be fantastic if we manage to get back on our first attempt, but do you think we would just do a ‘Burnley’ and struggle in the relegation with our current squad. Who do we have under contract that look premiership quality? I’d say KWP, Taylor ( obligation to buy apparently), Bednarek, Stu, Sulemana, maybe Adam on current form. Downes and Fraser definitely, but not ours. Also Edozie, Charles, Alcaraz, Dibbling and Amo- Ameyaw all with huge potential, but no way near ready for that step up yet.Che is good enough for the second striker role, but highly unlikely he will be here come the summer and Bayern sniffing at KWP amongst others, so would it be a big rebuild like Forest?

Yes you are right, but personally I think they should swallow the 6 million and keep him for the promotion push. The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow certainly outweighs the six mill loss. However I have no idea if he has an attitude problem and wants out, which sort of ties in with scoring when the window has been open and being dropped when it was closed. Obviously if that’s the case then get rid and good riddance. I dont believe this is the case with kwp, but who knows?

Didn’t we balance our books with what was it 170 million in sales in the summer? I’m not so worried about che going if he is replaced, but a replacement would still have to come in with an instant impact, because like him or not, che is still scoring. I just think if we lose KWP, to me it makes us weaker, he is constantly a top performer. They would have to spend large to replace him with similar quality, which obviously they won’t, it will be a strengthening of the books, not our promotion push.
