radio times shows that at 1930 tonight BBC1 there is a program about the current financial climate and its implications for the local football teams should be interesting to hear their thoughts about our current predicament!
-
this has always been my argument - I would make ST £200 for most areas (slightly more for centre areas) but put in a voucher for existing holders worth say £30 - £40 to be spent in the club shop - if you use the voucher for a shirt or jacket don't forget it hasn't actually cost the club that amount to buy from the manufacturers I believe it is critical to start getting more ST holders signed up BUT before that all happens.... goodbye lowe & co
-
when I win the "big one" the first thing I will do is charter an aircraft put lowe wilde askam and co on it and tell the pilot to take them on a one way trip to the middle of darkest Africa and dump them there sorted!
-
I was on the march mate and we have all had enough of the crap behind the scenes but you cant pretend "its petty politics" can you if they are about to get us relegated (again) and into admin - I don't call that petty btw I am not an attention seeker in any way but am not prepared to roll over while these toss*rs are in charge and I don't have to prove I can get behind the team as I have being doing so home and away for 35 years but thank you for your well constructed post - now bury your head back in the sand and all our problems will go away - FFS
-
just a quick reminder to all us "young kids" that the protest march is starting from the Bargates at 1400 - more time for drinkies! get all your mates there and lets see a massive turn out - a little slower walk this time for some of our older fans if possible see you there!
-
ask the finance director Solent - a certain Mr "Teflon" David Jones who despite being here through all the overspending still has a job and is still buiddies with lowe despite lowes condemnation of the way the finances were managed in his time away work that one out!
-
agree 100% mesaint - I have also reached 50 and if Wotte wants to reach me at 1345 tommorow - he will find me with hundreds of other "kids" ready to march again I suggest you concentrate on the football - that is what you're paid for is'nt it?

Protest stage 2: February 21st, meeting at bargate again.

not that great ..... FFS "not that great" is not exactly how I would describe it!!!!!!
-
no weve got Mr "Teflon" Dave Jones doing that ......... oh ****!
-
no chance mate - we would be lost without his "silky skills"!!!! note to Dave - when Drew scored in the 89th minute it was the equaliser - we hadnt actually won the game so kicking the ball into row z was'nt a bright idea was it - tw*t
-
Calvin - the last protest march was a great success despite the few gloom merchants predictions beforehand - whether there were 1000, 1200 or 1500 is irrelevant - the fact is hundreds of Saints fans took to the street and started the fightback the next march will be bl**dy huge - lets have double or triple the numbers - nobody is suggesting that lowe will be videoing the march for his family album but a march of this size will not and cannot be ignored by him and perhaps more importantly by others around him obviously Stu is suggesting add ons i.e.to walk away from St Marys which are all worth considering and are a useful step up in our fight for the club we love Calvin I'm not telling you to do anything merely asking that you along with any fans you know that have simply had enough to take a different route to St Marys on the 21st February and march - its not about changing the world - it is about standing tall and making a huge statement with your fellow fans - its up to us to get as many fans on this march - to make it so bl**ody huge that everyone will have to sit up and take notice
-
you and several hundred others!! that my friend is not only a good idea but should be made a "sticky"
-
count me in as well - no chance of a renewal until these clowns have gone - when that happens I'll be straight up there
-
10 points top of the league - lowe behind it - not an effing chance I'm afraid DOCTOR NEEDED - QUICKLY!
-
Askham, Richards, Windsor-Clive, Withers, Wilde

100% agree - whilst I imagine the season ticket renewal boycott is now going to be a real possibility - lets make the march on the 21st Feb twice or three times bigger - the last one was a fantastic sucess but we all know mates that although they despise lowe and what hes doing (not doing) - they somehow still stay in the pub - well on this day put the argument for getting up and at 1.30 be at the bargates - in fact dangle a pint in front of their noses and watch them follow you!! march with pride to St Marys and lets make a massive statement that simply cant be ignored - tell your friends - get anybody thats interested even if they have stopped going to matches - get them there!!!! Saturday 21st February THE MARCH FOR CHANGE -
thanks Rob - next time make sure YOU are there and make a difference ITS TIME FOR CHANGE!!!!

dream on mate

its not April 1st is it? - a "little" march attended by hundrerds of fans of all generations - a march we can all involve ourselves in - a massive statement that we are not prepared to put up with this board anymore arrogance, pomposity and disastrous decision making will be the death of this club - not the fans my friend who will be here far, far longer than the current clowns "in charge" of the club we love it would be nice to see you there if you care -

that sounds like a sensible plan! -
It would have been much better had the whole of the chapel been the singing end and should have been organised better when the stadium was built and before tickets were purchased that doesnt mean that it cant change - thats up to us of course but at the moment there are too many "pockets" dotted around which makes the whole atmosphere poorer
-
How many do you expect to turn up for the protest saturday?
georgeg replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
let me if I may throw this back at you with another question - do you think that this club can continue on its current course with the massive unrest caused by lowe as chairman (thats when he's here of course) and if you do for how long? for my part I would see Leon returning in a caretaker role but with far more importance placed on getting inward investment i.e. go out into the business world home and abroad and positively sell this club rather than sit in a rather aloof fashion waiting for the phone to ring if you have anything to sell in this world you have to promote hard - in todays climate even harder - even then there are no guarantees - but I dont see that happening right now - just some feeble comments like "they know where we are" - a really positive attitude for potential investors - not to see lowe "in action" at the agm was quite an eye opener for all the wrong reasons - I do not want a chairman who has no repect for fans and little respect for the clubs history - I believe he no longer belongs here - he has had his time I'm afraid -
what a good presenter Ed is! this is indeed bad news - but know the thoughts of all Saints fans are with you best wishes mate!
