Ah, but was that the executive lift that goes direct to the top floor? Rallyboy, I think you're overlooking several other categories. As well as 'pathetic nutjobs' it appears we have some sympathetic nutjobs, and maybe even some empathetic nutjobs.

A few years back before these dashcams were common, I was on a coach in Moscow which had a minor collison with a BMW .... clearly the car driver's fault. There followed a very tense confrontation between frightened coach driver and agressive car driver, with the car driver obvously trying to get coach driver to accept the blame and/or pay up some cash there and then. As far as I could tell, it ended with both sides just driving away, with no pretence even of the car driver paying for the damage he'd caused , or giving insurance details. Our local guide was whispering about organised crime etc. Moscow in general felt as lawless as the Wild West... and even the 'honest' drivers drive like maniacs.

surely Robinson owns 2 to 6, and he and the council have a charge on 1, now owned by the club?

Are you sure you don't want to change clubs Mack? You deserve better.

Have you heard about Liverpool trying to agree a loan deal with Portsmouth for Suarez, so he can serve all his ten match ban this season

Pochettino targets Champions League spot next season

Although by the time you do, you will have long since run out of oxygen, food and water! -

What a strange place for you to choose to come out in.

There really is a bit of paper with 'golden share' written on it? It's just like Willy Wonka ! (I hope it's not a counterfeit)

Also can't read, can't write, and apparently doesn't even know his own name!

No. We had -10 taken off the season after we were relegated because we were already doomed when we (or rather our holding company) went into administration. We were not deducted any points for coming out of admin because we did it properly. PFC had -9 for going into admin in premier league , -10 for going into admin again recently and are expecting another -10 for breaking all the promises they made when they came out of admin the previous time. Other clubs such as Rotherham were deducted a further -17 for not agreeing a CVA when they came out of admin. Portsmouth are due to lose only 10 for agreeing one they've completely ignored. so it;s better to agree a CVA and cheat on it than to admit the truth , in the FL's world.

Takeover's not gone through yet then? Hmmmm. Presumably this must happen during normal banking/office hours? So who will get the extra money from the 'bumper' crowd at tomorrow's final home game? PKF? ....Creditors?.... PDT?,..... Kanu? ....HMRC?...Harry?
-
Which is why the FL introduced the rule to stop clubs ever doing this again. Though of course as we all know, this PFC situation is technically different from what the rule-makers envisaged when they wrote it.

Maybe, but no doubt he'll have glued the egg to the spoon!

And another. But do all football fans share the same views on wind farms? After all we all share the same politics on here !

They've already bent the original loan conditions. PCC seem to be relying now on a promise that they will get first dibs on the parachute payments, to allow their loan to be repaid within a few months (whilst others wait for sometime-never). It is true btw that there is a new company called 'south point finance' with a registered office in Upham , which I think is Robinson's base isn't it? I really can't see what Robinson's motives are , if they are not at least a bit sinister from PFC's point of view. Even if the other "HNWs" are genuine fans, he is not.

Interesting post (from one of us?) on the News site. Anyone know more about this? "Stuart Robinsons money is not a loan, its coming into the Club via a finance company he has just set up called South Point Finance. A £1 company by the way. The Club in return will pay off this agreement in monthly instalments. Robinson as security will take a debenture out on the ground. If the Club defaults on any payments he is entitled to repossess the ground and throw the team out. This is what happened at Rushden & Diamonds and it is suggested that the same nice gentlemen involved with that little deal are behind Stuart Robinsons scheme ! There is a big difference between a loan and a finance agreement ! I think you miss the point, all the PP payments are accounted for in repaying the PFA and £1.5 million outstanding transfer money to other Clubs, Trevor Birch has admitted this already ."

The classy thing to do would be to send him a 'with sympathy' card, saying that you remember how he went to all that trouble to ring you when Saints were down on their luck, and that whilst there is a real temptation for you to gloat as he did, things are SO bad at Portsmouth now that you just wanted him to know that you were thinking of him.

Lord Brian Mawhinney ...ex-chairman of the Conservative party, and of course ex-chairman of the Football League. Since he left they've got a lot softer, so it is hard to predict how the decision over the -10 will go. In his day there'd have been no doubt that it would be applied next season.
-
Robinson is lending them £1.2 million, as well as buying the land around Fratton -- all for the best of reasons obviously.

The obvious answer to the cost is to privatise the funeral. Sell advertising space on the route , tickets for the church, get a sponsor for the coffin, etc. that would be the Thatcherite 'free market' way of dealing with it.

Nathaniel Clyne's Ocean Village home broken into
Ken Tone replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Yes but Swansea weren't playing, so BWP's mate was free! -
Well if Shaw isn't fit and if the papers are right that Fox is injured, we may not have much choice. Don't know how Forren would be but if we are without a LB , I'd play Clyne on the left and Maya at RB.

Should be no problem. As it is I usually confine myself to a polite "Excuse me referee, are you absolutely certain that was the correct decision? Might you possibly reconsider ?" Honest
