  1. Could just steal the Liverpool one? Maybe missing a syllable but we could just extend the Jay part? Jaaaayyy, Jaaaayyy Rodriguez, score a goal for me, da dah da dah da, da dah da dah da. repeat x20 or Big Jay (clutching at straws to make it work...)
  2. I would hazard a guess that some of those moaning at fancy dress, footy shirts etc are the same ones who look like a joke and dress the same as the guy who does the away ground thing on soccer am. By that I mean stone island, aquascutum, burberry, fred perry, lacoste etc... u look much funnier than any fan in fancy dress.
  3. I simply can't afford it. Spent over £200 on away games over the last week. Can't justify another £60 on petrol, £50 on hotel, and £30 on ticket before food, beer etc. when it's on the telly. 3000 is bloody good for a north away game on the box.
  4. He didn't do a ****** gesture from what i saw. Him and Davis had some sort of run in and then he did a shhh motion with his finger to his mouth to the fans.
  5. I don't think the FA can act retrospectively for the slap because the lino saw it and the ref took action with a yellow card. What he was booking him for though is another matter. If the lino saw it surely it is a red?

    What a ****

I think Cameron's look says it all.
  7. I have about £500 after bills to spend at the moment and easily spend this each month. This purely goes on alcohol, food, clothes, and petrol. I never have any cash left at end of the month. From June I will have about £1000 dsiposable but will probably end up frittering this away as well. I always seem to live to my means, never been a fan of saving.
  8. He's actually a Portsmouth fan. Mate from work recently returned from his stag do.
  9. Just one small thing, and this isn't a dig at anyone...but when we sing the 'one Marcus Liebherr' song, could we really try to slow it down so people can hear the words. It is always pretty emotional, and if we go up, I'm sure it will be bring a tear to the eye at the Coventry game if the whole ground could sing it!
  10. I think there is a lot of Saints' bias and the emotions of relegation, when talking down Redknapp for England. I think he is the only candidate at present. Whilst not ideal, I think he matches a lot of what is needed. He is a motivational manager who can get the best out of players; he is well respected by senior players; and has experience of dealing with top player egos. Also, the press love him which is probably 50-60% of the pressure that an England manager would have, gone.

    Bottle Lids

Sat in Chapel. Haven't had the bottle lid removed in about three seasons now. Since Chris Eaglestaff said it wasn't a problem. Water sold inside ground has bottle top left on as well.
  12. Oh, do one! I remember having an argument on here with someone a while back as to why the Guardian was as bad as the Daily Mail. These articles just further justify my point.
  13. We all know that DOG purely started this thread to try to wind up those with Christian beliefs. Those who don't see that, are either severely blinkered or just ignorant. He has set out to wind up a certain group of people which I would presume is against the forum rules. I wouldn't ever really say I've made a choice to be a Christian, it's always been part of me, just like my race, or my sexuality (which I would argue is as much of a choice i.e. there isn't one, there is no way that I could not be a Christian, just like someone who likes the same sex could be straight). The other issue with regards to the existence of God is a whole other argument. One that I don't really want to get into with people who simply won't ever listen to my side of the argument (I believe in God). The fact is we don't know if there is a God or not, that I will accept, but you're ultimate dismissal of God without knowing if he exists, is the same as my belief that he does exist. Accept that. The truest position is to be agnostic but like you, I have experienced, read, and lived certain things that make me believe rather than not, just like you choose to go the other way. Also, on a side note, whether you believe in him as the son of God or not, Jesus was real, he did exist and there are numerous records to support this.
  14. So, Charlie Wayman is either a retard or a skate.
  15. Had this in Thailand recently (the fishtank thing, not the clap)! It is a really weird sensation and takes a while to get used to.

    Kevin Keegan

I was walking out of my office today and saw a large white board with an arrow and 'st marys this way' written on it, supported by a large metal pole. I'm pretty sure it was a sign.
  17. Obviously, don't know what your source is, but hasn't he only just joined Wolfsburg?
  18. Always remember a school trip to the landing beaches and cemeteries in Year 9 or 10. We were all on the coaches laughing and joking but once we arrived everyone, even those who I would have thought would have no time for it, just stopped talking and realised the emotion of the place, and the sacrifices made. Everyone just walked around in silent contemplation, taking in the enormity of how many died so we could have the freedoms we take for granted today.
  19. Maybe something like the Anderson song that the Mancs sing to the tune of agadoo. Schneiderlin-lin-lin-lin he comes from the east of France, Schneiderlin-lin-lin-lin he's a midfielder with class, Passes left, passes right Morgan score a goal tonite We all think that he's great, and he hates the ****ing skates... Schneiderlin-lin-lin-lin... etc

    G20 protestor

Agree entirely. Whilst the officer overeacted, they were in a very stressful situation. The guy involved, whilst it is a tragedy he died, was not helping himself.
  21. I have one in .csv format, but can't upload it from work. I'll put a link up just after five.
  22. They earn over double what Virgin cabin crew do as well: Data from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) shows for the first time how much higher BA’s wage costs are than its rivals. The average salary for BA’s 14,000 cabin crew, including bonuses and allowances, is £29,900, compared with £14,400 at Virgin Atlantic and £20,200 at easyJet. BA’s pilots earn an average of £107,600, compared with £89,500 at Virgin and £71,400 at easyJet. http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/industry_sectors/transport/article6466748.ece
  23. I think the one upmanship is more a Labour thing than anything else. They all seem to think that the Conservatives deliberately want to try and **** up the country and **** everyone off! Why would they? It's so much more a class thing from Labour than the other way round.

    Turnout

Big debate about people being turned away all over the country. Disgrace, they should have let them carry on voting until at least 12.
  25. Surely that's just emphasising my point?!? They're all as bad as each other but the Daily Mail gets more stick because it is right of centre.
