Rupert Lowe - underhand dealings from beyond the realms of football

Well, then you should probably ask your cousin why they've made up this story. -

Can I just say the story the 'pasted' original poster has given is complete ********. This is not how mydeposits or the dps work. If there wasn't agreement on the repayment of the deposit it goes to arbitration if both parties agree for that process. If not it is held with them until a court order tells them otherwise. I just don't understand why 'lovelocum' would bother to make something up that can so easily be proved wrong? Also, just to add Rupert Lowe once ate my hamster. -
"Gimme Shelter" - any chance for the next few games?
nathan replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I think this is the best one so far. No more than two lines and can be sung as a chant. -
I think it has to be Wild Horses. It's his favourite song and could introduce another slower song. Not much change needed. Wild horses, couldn't drag me away Daniel Osvaldo, we love watching you play. Wild horses, couldn't drag me away Daniel Osvaldo score a go-al today

The compensation is pathetic, that's the issue. The example of John Bostock (don't know where he is now)...Palace rejected near £5m bid incl various add ons, he went to Spurs and fee was decided at tribunal to be £500k.

Swansea will have to win their play-off first. Really hope they do as can't make the Saturday.

Just to add something to an old theard but the link TerryPWard provided has been amazing. I've watched every single Saints away game (and numerous other prem games) in perfect quality when using my mac with apple tv. Like watching sky sports through a 46" telly. The overplay works out at about £6.50 a month. There is never any buffering, stalling or other issues. Very, very occasionally you have to refresh the browser if the image goes a non-HD but that is resolved within 10 secs. You also get English commentary.

The legal differences between a Gay civil union and a Gay marriage
nathan replied to Colinjb's topic in The Lounge
I inherently believe that marriage is between a man and a woman. I have no issues whatsoever with two men or two women being equal in the eyes of the law, but whatever you want to call it, it shouldn't be marriage. -

Playing devil's advocate...but can I marry myself. My interpretation of marriage is that I should be allowed to. I know some may disagree that this isn't what marriage is, but I'll just call them back dated, old fashioned and not evolved. I should get all the rights that married people get but in my marriage it will just be me. I think all people should be treated equally in law and have all the same rights, but 'marriage' is between a man and a woman. -
I've previously been in the pro Cortese camp, but this is an absolute ****ing discgrace.

Not really a often poster but will throw my two pence worth in. I love reading this forum and genuinely laugh out loud at a lot of things on here, but usually just read without posting back to the marching in/saints forever days. I would rather we went down this year showing integrity and loyalty than stayed in the Premier League with a manager who would crap on us at the first opportunity of bigger things. I think Adkins is the best manager we've had in the 20 years I've had my season ticket. He doesn't become a bad manager just because he's lost a few games against good opposition. I hate peopel who can't look at the long term and think being 19th in the Premier League is the worst thing that could ever happen...it's not. On the whole I think Cortese does a good job. There's a few times when I think he may be too strict and not the nicest to people but he's the CEO of a multi-million pound company and you don't get there without upsetting a few people. I obviously get a little worried with all the talk of running out of money, but until anyone can show me anything concrete I'm not going to start posts about how it's all going tits up.

I know from the comments above the severely restricted view seast are not worth it, but has anyone got any experience of the normal restricted view?

Is this really already SOLD OUT?? Trying to get tickets online and that's the message I'm getting.

How many tactical mistakes is Adkins allowed? (Part 2)
nathan replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Because I have a life and don't talk rubbish for the hell of it. You should try it sometime... -

Whilst we at it I think we should sack the next manager. He hasn't changed anything around, and the players aren't responding. Whoever it is needs to go before they've started, so things don't go back to the way they haven't been. I can't believe Cortese hasn't done this already, very poor planning. -
Surely this argues my point. 8 games is not enough time to judge anyone on. I'm reserving judgement until they've played games in a settled team. But I could always make a rash statment, without fact, to suit my agenda....

I don't think we have spent £30m in all the wrong places. Ramirez seems to be worth it, Clyne has done well, J Rod is still unproven, Mayo hasn't done the best but I think will come good, and Mayuka looks good from what I've seen. It's only really Davis who I don't rate. Mistakes will be made. I think getting rid of Adkins is the worst thing we could do. You don't become a bad manager overnight. Everyne cries out for stability, and even the best managers have some poor times. In 1989 many journalists and Man U supporters wanted Ferguson to be sacked! Every manager needs time, and Adkins has got the vast majority of things right since he's been here.

Where are all these failings that everyone keeps talking of? We've achieved successive promotions and are struggling in the Premier League as 99% of promoted clubs do when they go up. We have a young, positive manager who seems to have integrity, a chairman who has backed the team financially, and a brilliant academy that seems to be on the cusp of producing some very good players. Seriously, it's not that bad!!!!!! It seems some people on here just want things to go badly in order to have something to moan about.

It's quite interesting reading this thread and how people who don't know/didn't see what happened can make a judgement. After the scond Spurs goal that Boruc did very poorly with, a fan shouted about him being able to do a better job, Boruc then turned and reacted (intimating something about coming on to the pitch but didn't heard exactly what), a few fans then stood up and reacted to what he had said (so I can presume it wasn't worded in the friendliest way). He then threw his bottle at the crowd. Categorically, it wasn't at the hoardings it was at the crowd. (Unless his distribution is really that bad!!) It hit the steward in the front row with the biggest afro I have ever seen. He then got more reaction from the crowd who booed him and he then clapped sarcastically. The bottom line is that he's not fit and looks quite a few pounds overweight and had a poor game. I can only presume that Gazza is injured as to why he's been dropped.

In between college and uni I worked a few weeks for Matthew Clarke drinks. Basically a driver's mate helping him out with the jobs, but my driver could do it himself apart from the loading of the van in the morning. Every pub would offer us a drink and he'd always order a beer for me. Basically, spent three weeks getting paid to get drunk.

Now I'm one of the fans who will be considerd positive about most things SFC, but £25 for a pre-season friendly is an absolute **** take.
