Quite agree! Weren't we lucky that Baz got injured when he did! McC who I didn't rate highly, never put a foot (or hand) wrong in those vital matches. I don't reckon he has been given the credit he deserves for those last three games.

Ings is a busted flush, he had one great year with us and he will want to forget all that followed. Broja had four or five good games for us but looked bored in other games and did nothing for Chelsea, even before his injury. Forget them both. We need to look for a future not a faded past

Not enough credit given to Macca since his unexpected return. I, for one, didn't welcome him but he did more than well in these vital matches. he played with more command of his area than he ever had before and we only conceded one goal in the the three play off matches. He amazed me, what a relief after being scared every time the thing came anywhere near GB .

It's all too similar to the 2005 relegation, that was followed by reaching (and losing) the play offs, then the following year was a struggle against relegation (avoided in the last match) and then the next relegation followed. The Championship is difficult to get out of, if you don't do it immediately. This present manager seems a nice chap, but nice chaps aren't often winners at top level
