  1. How did this word 'brave' slip into the football lingo? What does it even mean? Everything has to be brave, its the fashion. The bravest people are the fans who pay their money week in week out, in rain wind storm or tempest for one disappointment after another
  2. Yes I was there and WALLY JUDD kicked off and became the first man to kick a ball under floodlights.
  3. Not only Koeman....remember Alf Ramsey who even remained in his seat when everyone else was dancing and jigging after winning the World Cup. He was boss off the field Bobby Moore was boss on the field.
  4. Yes the whole thing is now an utter shambles but Dragan has tried, he has poured more money in than anyone ever bgt been let down by his 'team', its the manager choices which has done for us.
  5. The reality is we can't afford to pay him off and keep within Fair play rules. Don't forget we are still paying off Ralph, Jones and Selles> it's terrible manager appointments that is killing us, more than the present squad
  6. He WAS but his day is done.
  7. Agreed! When the game begins, its over to the captain and team. Alf Ramsey/Bobby Moore is the model
  8. Moyes would not be my choice, he has too many disasters on his CV. Graham Potter is my choice not because he once played for us but because he got Brighton into the force they are now and he did it with an exciting attacking style. We've been turgid for too long, right back to Puel, we've got over his style.
  9. Who is crap? The squad is good, some of it has class. Properly managed they would be more than ok, not crap
  10. There's no way out, please let us have a fresh start
  11. What's the name of the Sunderland guy who got injured, is he match fit now? He must have cost us a bomb.
  12. We haven't had that for ages, wouldn't it lift morale to have a player who is exciting, who makes things happen. We have become utterly boring. That is the style and we are ;paying good money to be bored and frustrated. At least he looked as if he might make something happen. If he hadn't got injured he would probably have been subbed for upsetting the system
  13. The manager seems to be a really nice sociable fellow and the players obviously like him, a glass or two with him would be fun. Perhaps he could be pundit or train a ladies team, there's lots he could do but managing a Premier League club is definitely not one of them and we need the change pronto.
  14. True! The squad has enough talent to be mid table. I know critics on this forum have rubbished the recruitment - there are always failures, ask Man Utd, but there have also been excellent buys and we will lose them if we don't get a proper manager who knows how to get the best out of them. Can't the owners see this? Everyone else can.
  15. Killing me too, does anyone enjoy watching this style? Its meant to be clever, sort of superior, but playing around at the back is not clever, its stupid.
