This is a match where the pressure should be off the players given Brum and our respective forms. Going by form we should get hammered, however this is Saints and maybe we will spring a surprise. A point would be good and a win would be outstanding.

Why would they want to sign a player who is 30 and has no top flight experience? Lambert is going nowhere, the only way he will grace the Premier League is with us.

The problem is who else do we have? Bopara is not International quality and the rest are untried youngsters. It's all very good scoring runs on the batsman friendly pitches in England, but batting in the sub continent is an entirely different skill. This game was crying out for Collingwood.
