  1. The lowering of standards and expectations season on season - otherwise known as the Sport Republic Effect
  2. This is it entirely, you could sit an outsider down and it would take hours to run through every instance of sheer incompetence and poor decision making that these owners have overseen over the last few years. It’s literally staggering. The incompetence beggars belief. They’ve set this club back decades, we are close to being right back to 2009 levels of shitness here - yes we aren’t skint, but we will soon have very little money to spend and be hovering around the league one trap door, so barely any difference at all. Thanks guys , great job. Cunts
  3. Yep, people took too much notice of our results and used them as an example of the struggle of a promoted club, rather than seeing it for what it was, the worst run club in premier league history. We were the exception rather than the rule. Guarantee you no club gets less than 15 points for decades again
  4. And here is your reason Saints fans are considered soft, this attitude and malaise synonymous with a lot of our fans , who won’t even consider action against owners who’ve overseen the worst run of results in English football history over 50 consecutive league games, Through blatant mismanagement of the football club over recruitment of players , managers, muddled thinking , complacency, arrogance and constant chopping and changing of club strategies and philosophy, that’s right, the worst run of results EVER. But yeah, let’s not rock the boat too much. And we wonder why these owners continue to fleece us, knowing we will just clap away at full time regardless. Fucking ridiculous
  5. Another depressing stat Sunderland have just won their fifth league game since winning the playoff final We’ve won four since winning the playoffs a year earlier
  6. My point entirely.
  7. I bet Nathan Jones is feeling pretty smug right now: a far better manager than the current chump We’ve got
  8. Very similar to Tuesday night in that regard, played well then until we went behind, then the white flag comes up the moment we fall behind. Piss weak mentality throughout the squad and staff. It’s been the same throughout sport republics tenure, no backbone at all on the pitch , which is the clear result of signing too many mentally and physically weak players lacking in experience and ignoring the spine of our team year after year. It’s criminal
  9. I’ll give this one a miss thanks. The match day prices are a fucking rip off anyway , after the season we had last year, they’re a bunch of absolute piss takers charging an average of £35 plus booking fees for this dross. They assume we will just swallow anything and everything they do and still come back for more. It’s time to show them otherwise , en masse. Otherwise league one is just around the corner and deep down we all know it
  10. Is this fucking clown going to give an interview any time soon about how the football operations side of things is going so far? He was all smiles at the fans forum at the start of the season , reminding us that “we now have Damion” up front to provide a focal point, and that the operational side of things was geared up for success. Be lovely to hear from him
  11. The ridiculous thing is, Russell Martin (who’s a terrible manager) probably wins that game 3-0. That’s how shit Still was today, and is in general, from what I’ve seen of him
  12. Exactly and I’ve been saying this for the last year plus now
  13. 100%. They’ve taken advantage of us being fairly passive for far too long by having the audacity to keep gambling like they have , assuming that whatever they do they’ll get a free pass from the fan base . Time for that to change
  14. Indeed. They’ve taken advantage of the saints fanbase good nature over the last few years in a big way, having the brass neck to carry on gambling with clever arse appointments and signings knowing they won’t get any comeback or heat from the fans, which is a big reason they’ve kept taking the piss with some of these gambles in my opinion. time they got a shock now. They should be embarrassed and ashamed at what they’ve done to this club
  15. Has he gone yet? Today was the straw that broke the camels back for me, totally unnaceptable and unforgivable result and in-game management. He can’t continue
  16. Funny thing is, standards under SR get lower and lower by each passing year, month, week, day. So much so that you end up pining for crap previous employees at this club (managers, players, directors), as they’re less crap than the next appointments and signings these chumps make. These owners are a cancer who need to be cut out of this club
  17. Same. If you’re going to do that, which is fucking ridiculous in itself - you HAVE to win the game. The fact he didn’t and he even lost it, is me done. Hes got to go. Can’t defend that utter shit show that happened today. Another weekend completely ruined
  18. Some sort of boycott is needed, a sharp drop in attendance noticeable so that it gets reported on, would be a start, Sheffield Wednesday fans came together and have finally ridden themselves of their cancer. Some may say we aren’t in as dire straits as that, but 4 wins in 50 games would suggest otherwise. It’s a results business and ours are now literally record breakingly bad. Our owners are a different kind of cancer, one of complete ineptitude which is ruining our club just as quickly as Sheffield Wednesdays ex owner. Fans need to show some strength and start getting tough on these losers.
  19. Fucking insulting isn’t it. Learnt from their mistakes, by then preceding to appoint a rookie manager younger than some of our players, who hasn’t ever managed in this country. Fucking pricks
  20. They can get fucked now. I was 90% not going to go to the next 2 home games, now I’m definitely not. I cannot stomach continuing to give money to these fucking cunts ruining our club. 20th in the championship is an absolute fucking disgrace. Sickening
  21. This is right up there along with a time when Koeman was going through a rough patch of results and someone suggested we “go cap in hand to Nigel”
  22. I know what you mean, I could feel the momentum building in his favour when he came within a whisker of completing a pass last night. Watch this space
  23. This is the key bit for me. Even for these charlatans, it beggars belief that they were so naive they thought that this signing, and this signing alone, would suffice. I think they genuinely thought Stewart would be fit all season and bang in the goals left right and centre, which again was incredibly naive/ complacent, based on his injury record to date at the club. But then their whole tenure in Charge of saints has been completely riddled with arrogance and complacency of the highest order, which has manifested itself into complete incompetence and gross mis management of a football club.
  24. It probably isn’t, no. But you can understand the frustration based not only on the fact that he is a very poor player, but compounded by the fact that he appears to be lacking any effort or desire to impact any game he plays in. This will get you booed eventually (particularly the lack of effort) by any fanbase, like it or not.
