  1. Yes I watched it, we deserved to win. I’m talking about how laughable it is that Wilder is claiming Sheff Utd should’ve won 3-1
  2. Good to see wilder still talks absolute bollocks after games they lose then. What an idiot. They should’ve won 3-1 apparently
  3. But still better than Bazunu, you’d say.
  4. Yep it’s pretty clear we need another big centre forward to rotate with Stewart and share the load, someone to replace him today would’ve kept a big striker up front to keep them occupied at the back, but we surrender that once AA came on. Surely we expected Downs to be the one to alternate with Stewart for the centre forward role, so with him now gone, surely we sign a replacement ?
  5. We’ve said that a few times under Tonda.
  6. Actually thought we deserved to win that as should’ve been at least 2 up at half time and prob more. Add to that Leo’s headed chance and you’d say we deserved the points, but fuck me we make it hard, 9/10 Bamford probably equalises and this place is in meltdown. The defending and general organisation still looks absolutely dreadful. Happy with the win though, have to take what we can get right now
  7. Let’s see if we can actually manage the second half better than previous games we’ve been leading at half time in. Suspect we will see the exact opposite of that first half in the second.
  8. You jest but I actually think that’s what he’s going to do. Because he’s a fucking idiot
  9. Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if manning, Armstrong etc aren’t dropped, but merely rested for Sunday, as Tonda has hinted at changing it up so players are fresh for the derby. Guarantee you’ll see them all back in for Sunday
  10. Called it, let’s see if the the rest happens. Can read the guy like a book
  11. This is what my contact was told by the same scout who also spoke about Rasmus
  12. Yes, we are. At the moment anyway. Players (decent ones who would improve us anyway) are reluctant to sign due to the current culture at the club, and the downward spiral whereby no one seems to excel when they play for us, and also the fact that certain players run the dressing room, which apparently is common knowledge among other clubs and players when discussing saints. This is the opinion right now, ie during this current transfer window, after what’s happened so far this season coupled with our recent history under these owners
  13. Yep , whether people like it or not, the fans are going to have to come together if they want this club to ever be relatively succesful in the future , to get rid of these idiots.
  14. Who the fuck knows, I’m just passing on my knowledge of what I’ve been told. But I’m guessing this doesn’t include the generic “appeasing the fans by signing old favourites” ploy they also seem to love doing. On that basis they’ve probably just signed him and Romeu based on what they could do x amount of years ago, and still not watched them play in the months leading up to signing them , again who knows
  15. Ramsey will point to the stats and data at suggesting they’re on the right track i expect.
  16. Ben Garner I expect. It’s like asking if you’d rather have your left or right bollock hacked off with a blunt knife
  17. They recognised the need for change and made a solid appointment for the here and now to guarantee survival first and foremost. The difference is we are run by some of the most egotistical arrogant cunts you could ever wish to meet, so they won’t deviate from their delusional methods and will never make an appointment that actually gives us the best chance of positive football results, which is surely the main aim for any club.
  18. Otherwise known as a “Grand old Duke of York” team
  19. Vipotnik of Swansea top scorer in the league now - somehow they managed to get him on a fraction of our budget. Big strong and holds the ball up, a real handful and scoring for fun. It really wasn’t hard for us to get decent players in with the money we’ve got. You’ve got to be almost record breakingly clueless to not sign the right players at this level with our budget.
  20. What a surprise a hipster inexperienced data style appointment is looking clueless already in a league he’s not got any experience in.
  21. Yep, just like another huge coincidence in Sheffield Utd’s upturn in form and almost immediate rise out of the relegation zone as soon as wilder took over - a manager who’s also managed them in the premier league and took them to 9th in said league. Nah, nothing to do with the manager there either
  22. Nothing to do with Norwich having appointed an experienced manager though who demands respect, according to some on here. Just total coincidence the whole club has had a lift and results have picked up almost immediately after he was appointed.
  23. This is the information I’ve been told - that’s all I can say. Just passing on what I’ve been told
  24. I know someone who’s very close to staff and players at the club, and a scout who works in southern Europe and recommends up and coming players to clubs in the top footballing nations, told him this at the weekend. Said it’s almost impossible to recommend players to Saints if they’re not on Rasmus shortlist or their profile doesn’t tick all of the boxes on his spreadsheet. He also said it’s common knowledge that saints never go to watch a player play before signing him, it’s all done via data analysis.
  25. The more he keeps quoting stats and other hard luck stories based on data, the more he’s going to piss everyone off and make his position among the fans worse than it already is
