I think you are maybe overstating it the feeling. Plenty of discontent with the amount of backwards movement where I was, and more than a modicum of relief at the final whistle. We weren’t that great.

I'm on a fence about this too. Win and get the desperately needed three points, RM will feel vindicated and able to carry on with his turgid style of football, lose and it might just be goodbye. I really don't know what I'm hoping for the most.

I would have to subscribe to that. 65+ years in and still counting thankfully, it is the most boring, inept style of football as I've ever seen at St. Mary's or at the Dell.
