  1. What the hell are you on?
  2. Can you explain to me exactly what other data actually matters. And while you’re at it get that other twat fabreze to explain how ‘all the metrics’ are so important. There’s only one bit of data / metric that matters to most fans. This:
  3. On reflection this morning I don’t know whether to laugh or cry…I mean grown men hair pulling? Come on, it’s not the Under 7 playground league. How does that even cross a professional, supposedly (haha) elite PL player’s mind? Another thing that amused me last night is I sit in the Kingsland with the other old people just forward of the edge of the goal area Northam End. I noticed on at least three occasions Lumley had the ball towards the front of his area but even he passed it backwards. It made me smile…I needed it last night.
  4. Don’t forget some people like League One football.
  5. Yep…that’s why we’re adrift at the bottom of the table….🤓
  6. Is Ted Lasso there?
  7. Maybe for a different thread? This one is to vent on how bad Russell Martin is…😎
  8. That’s another reason I really dislike him…he could at least change the friggin’ script.
  9. Even the most ardent fan must surely admit it evens itself out over a season….for instance on the plus side the Everton goal that wasn’t (really) and kamikaze Downes not getting sent off in the Brighton game.
  10. Not doing us much good though is it?
  11. My personal view is that his knowledge and abilities regarding football tactics are very limited. He has been well and truly found out in the PL, unfortunately I can find no reason to think that the same won't happen in the championship next year. Managers are paid to find weaknesses in opposing teams and tactics. They won't have to look very far to find those in this manager.
  12. If…(see what I did there…)
  13. Doesn’t the promotion money come into this year’s accounts? I haven’t a clue how PSR works but would have thought that that has to be a factor somewhere along the line.
  14. It could well be true that we will have a decent Championship squad of players for when (in my mind) the inevitable happens. The question is will these players thrive if RM survives as manager. His mantra is ‘no change’ so for other managers perhaps it will be like re- reading a book or watching Game of Thrones for the seventh time. They will surely know how it acts out and how it ends. For this reason I am perhaps not so optimistic as others about life in the Championship.
  15. for most of us on here it's not I would suggest. It's boring and unnecessary, if you need to carry on this playground behaviour why not do it by direct messaging not in public.
  16. And you really think that people need to see your comment? Unbelievable.
  17. That is a seriously twisted comment. Halve the medication or get help.
  18. ……unless they watch PL football on a regular basis. It’s like the officials all have a different rule book to each other.
  19. Isn’t the whole point about VAR to do away with inconsistency in implementing rules. If it isn’t then what is the point of it?
  20. You don't seem to be allowing for that in your very black-and-white analysis of yesterday's decision.
  21. They might as well as from what I've seen this season especially no two of them seem to have the same interpretation of the laws.
  22. Than of the average football fan? Hmmmm…..
  23. This. Imagine the team with no Ramsdale, KWP, THB, Downes, Fernandez and Dibling. No bright young things from the academy, nobody worth a damn wanting to come here. That could well be us in the Championship next year, still playing suicide football. I don’t think this is unwarranted pessimism, I would rather think of it as being pragmatic. And yet there are those who seem to think we will once again take it by storm (not that we did last year but you know what I mean).
  24. Based on what? It can’t be on much of what we have witnessed this season.
  25. Saints in the first half was exactly why I spend my time moaning about them. Saints in the second half was a team, win, lose or draw, with which I could start enjoying my football again and have something to cheer about.
