I'm looking forward to see how this pans out. He almost has a free pass for this season from me, as I said in a previous post just give me something to enthuse over.

Quite.. it's a sobering thought to think that if I've been in charge of the team we could only have been a maximum of five points worse off this season.

Isn’t this the nub of the matter? In modern society someone somewhere will always find something offensive. Who is going to be the arbiter of what is or what isn’t? Coincidentally I’ve recently been listening to the audiobook of 1984 by George Orwell. The party rules everything from thought to speech to actions. If you fall foul of this you are punished…. The term slippery slope comes to mind.

That’s all I want. The results almost don’t matter for the rest of this season, I just want to be enthused, entertained and to come away from a match feeling that that’s exactly what they did, have a go. Just like the second half against Liverpool on Wednesday night.

I had a thought recently ( few and far between I know) but along the lines of if ABK wants to continue his career sooner or later he’s going to have to knuckle down, get rid of the petulant little boy act and start playing football. Given that he has been selected for various stages of the German national team there must be a footballer there somewhere. Instead of getting rid of him I wonder if someone like Juric could be the manager to resurrect his career, to get him playing to the standard he once was capable of. To my way of thinking it could only benefit us if that were the case.

Shame you’re not one of them…I’ll chip in a couple of bob for someone to take you.

If we manage to get out of our own half after less than 20 me to you to mes it will be a vast improvement.

I’d add stay away from the slurry too, obviously does something weird to people.

Given their past performances I feel sure they will soon be talking to the third team manager of Cheltenham Town about our vacant manager’s job. Given the ineptitude they have shown in running SFC it’s hard to believe they have succeeded in any business ventures. Obviously they have but how..(cue Jaws music😎)

I think there’s an assistant manager in a Canary Island div 3 team that SR have got their eye on.
