  1. I better go and have a lie down... that's two of FS's posts I agree with today😳
  2. surely the problem with that scenario is if you yo but don't then yo. you turn into Stoke or Swansea or something like that. Still, I suppose that RM will have experience of that..
  3. Here you are Russ, fill yer boots. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/CzAE4pNSD6pTanBH/?mibextid=UalRPS you're welcome.
  4. No he didn't. A lot of people believe we were promoted despite Martin not because of him.
  5. I did notice with him on Saturday when he was doing step overs his feet must have been about six feet apart. The clue’s in his nickname I guess.
  6. …inasmuch as the world and his wife now know how one dimensional we are and how easy we are to play against, especially when we run out of ideas and the manager makes his usual crop of totally inane and unnecessary substitutions. Yep, that’s unlucky alright.
  7. Obviously going to wait until survival is a mathematical impossibility (before Christmas at this rate) then they’ll big him up as the person to lead us out of the Championship.
  8. The way we’re going, both in the league and on this forum, we’ll be talking about Russell sodding Martin forever.
  9. I’d have a different take on that. It worked when we had that unbeaten run, not winning run but unbeaten run, granted. Then other managers did what they are paid to do and worked out how easy it was to play against us, changed tactics against us,and so the unbeaten run came to an end. Martin did not, would not change anything, mediocrity resumed and so we stumbled into the playoffs on the back of that run where we won the lottery. since then he has been found out in pretty much every way possible, ineptitude, arrogance when questioned, tactical naivety, no understanding of when and what substitutions to bring on, etc. I don’t think even an RM fanboy such as yourself can deny that, they are facts, not opinions. One point from eight games proves the point in my opinion. He has been found out fair and square. If you call that a working managerial appointment you must come from a different planet to me.
  10. The signs were there towards the latter stages of the first half. 2-0 up but getting deeper and deeper allowing them to dictate play. Just knew it wouldn’t end well. The most annoying thing for me was that I actually thought in the first half that there is a team worse than us in the PL.
  11. Will he though? I thought he said in the presser that the people in the building supported him, or words to that effect. If that’s the case then we deserve what we are undoubtedly going to,get.
  12. Somewhat apprehensive 😳
  13. In my opinion that is somewhat ironic coming from you.
  14. One that basically has the balls to turn round and say Russell you don't know what you're doing and we're not going to play your crap brand of football anymore. Surely as professional footballers with aspirations they must be as embarrassed by what they're being asked to do as most fans are. They must surely see it's not working. If only.
  15. He won't and we will.
  16. And a massive two fingers stuck up to the fans. I paid out nearly £600, a huge percentage of my yearly disposable income being a pensioner, for a season ticket on the premise that we would at least give it a go this season. That season ticket was not sold to me as a spectator to one man’s vanity project, to watch him gloat about having the best stats for keeping possession in our own penalty area or whatever. To those who defend him, in my opinion you are defending the indefensible. The only thing bigger than his ineptitude is his ego….or perhaps his ability to bullsh*t.
  17. If only….
  18. For that reason would probably have been better moved to Miami as well. I don't know what the buses are like from Hedge End to Miami but I think I might have to get up quite early to catch one.
  19. Probably because of what they witness week after week watching Saints.
  20. So he is a wannabe pep. It's still not working though....
  21. The biggest reason for him to go came out of his own mouth recently. That is the moment when we will have to trust the model more than ever because the temptation to move away from it will be very strong. Russell, matey……IT AINT WORKING.
  22. Ah, the good old Coven of Twats.
  23. I think the powers that be could be prosecuted under the Trades Description Act. They still call it sport.
  24. You do realise that this being a forum other opinions than yours are available and equally valid. You pluck shit out of the air, you need to give others the pleasure of doing so as well.
  25. That's the whole point. The PL is a cutthroat, merciless place and time is one thing you don't get. Get it right pretty much straight away, and that's from the top to the bottom, board decisions to manager decisions to player decisions, or you're adrift at the bottom.
