Ref: Jaidi Any idea how long it takes the FA to approve the work permit? If it's a formaility then I assume it's not long? Jaidi is an excellent signing in my opinion, we're now solid at the back. We just need some confidence in front of goal. It'll come I'm sure (soon I hope!).

"Dear Mr Mawhinney, We were disappointed at the Football League's decision last Monday to refuse a right of appeal in respect of the 10 point deduction. We are also disappointed that the granting of a licence to play in League 1 is dependent on the club agreeing to waive the right to appeal against the said deduction. Having taken legal advice we understand that, under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, it may be possible to challenge this clause retrospectively. We are further advised that an agreement signed under duress may breach Human Rights legislation. I am sure you will agree that it would be preferable for both parties and for the good of the game at large that these issues be resolved outside of the legal arena.
