Just a bit of "fun" but: If (and it's looking increasingly unlikely) they decide time's up for RM, then could they be considering Carsley? Plug should have been pulled after Bournemouth but possibility they've been holding out for this International break. Of course he wouldn't get to work with the players (other than THB and Ramsdale!) over the 2 weeks but Lallana could keep things ticking over, then the FA would probably release him if a PL came calling....and if he'd want it. Coached at Man City and coach/interim boss at Brentford. Ticks boxes for Ras. He even experimented with England against Greece (disastrously) in a Saintly-no-striker ploy. For me, it requires a Moyes-type to sort this mess.

I would take some convincing that any Saints fan "enjoyed" that midweek trek up to Sheffield. Something like 6,000 travelled up north a week before Christmas, it was a shit journey gridlocked on the M1, many of us didn't arrive until near kick-off. And then we were shit against lower league opposition. The entire side were booed through frustration and the prospect of another miserable trip back south, Mane copped an earful as he came a bit too close to our end after. One of the least "enjoyable" nights I've had.

How did you go back and check that, would be interesting to see it, if you could put up a link, ta? I'm a member but my mate isn't so when he's come along I've had to wait to get tickets on the ticket exchange so we can stand together. I constantly watch the ticket sales stages ready to jump in and haven't been able to get them until it's 'sold-out' and they then open up the TE. I must just have bad timing.

I think all the home games so far have sold out to members and have only been made available to general sale (with a purchase history) once they've opened the ticket exchange.

I'm enjoying watching Fernandes while we've still got him, he's a cut above, we'll struggle to keep hold of him for another season even in the unlikely event that we were still PL next season. He edged it for MOTM for me yesterday, close with Ramsdale but I couldn't really appreciate all his heroics as I was down the other end of the stadium. Rode our luck but welcome 3 points.

I wouldn't know whether you sit in the dugout or Directors Box but if it's another loss today can you let us know if RM is clapped down the tunnel again like after the Leicester defeat? Thanks.

Around 800 Stoke making the trip, so their chants will be echoing through the empty Kingsland for a bit of atmosphere.

There was a lot of dubious stuff going on yesterday with that ref, from his eagerness to get his book out early against us to little tug backs he pulled us up on but let it go the other way. And then that blatant pen on Onuacho. And I'm a bit mystified why MOTD showed the added time as 8 minutes, I could have sworn it was put up as 7 in the stadium. Everyone around us were moaning as that corner was awarded at nearly 8 minutes, did Lineker get MOTD to up it to avoid any more finger pointing? When they were putting up that 'Top Boy' flag near us it felt it may be our day, that went well.

It wasn't great but it wasn't that bad either. Still mostly singing different stuff on either side, so little different to the old Northam/Itchen North combo which has been crap for years anyway. The worse thing is how docile the rest of the stadium is, south of the halfway line is just a bunch of spectators sitting on their hands.

Yep, I’d go along with just about all of that When I step onto the terraces I’ll be right up for it, we need to be at it from the off to keep the fans on side. But can really only see a point each in this, another loss will likely change the atmosphere for the worse going onwards.

I'm assuming the club ain't making money selling away tickets for league games, so if they're taking full allocations they're probably just happy to get them sold however so not to be lumbered with unsold tickets and costing them a wedge. Can't really blame them but as suggested, members with most away credits should get second pick at each stage on tickets.

I certainly don't want Jocks in the English Leagues, it's bad enough having the Taffs crossing the border to tell us how much they hate us. Both Rangers and Celtic are massive clubs held back by their league, I'd say they'd soon be right up top with a level playing field and in a weakened PL. Then likely fook off too to that new Global Mega League once the opportunity arrived. They've got massive global support/appeal so ideal for the TV markets.
