Yep, best wishes Tommy
-
Probably...but only if they let us count the postponed game for all our suspensions
-
Yep, that's the reality, and you can probably chuck KWP into that mix too, but hanging onto the slim hope of holding out until the summer. Unfortunately they'll be lining up down Britannia Road for Dibling in Jan, fighting to get him before someone else does.
-
Let's hope the club's knees don't buckle under tempting offers for Dibling and Fernandes in Jan as then we'd be really really fucked.
-
I can certainly see this happening now as the transfer window opens shortly. The club will want to show ABK is fit and willing to potential suitors much as they unexpectedly chucked him in against Cardiff in the cup as the window was about to close. He should be in because he's a better player than anything else available for this match, and probably before too.

Yep, most accept we're down, that was almost accepted before the season started, but it's how we go down. It will probably be Spring before the board buckle to fan pressure which will rapidly build now and bring someone else in (hopefully with a much different game plan) but if we eventually go down fighting then that sets us up for another pop next year in the Championship (which I think many wouldn't be wholly against). Home game for 'Farmer Saint' believe he's lives near Brighton, will be interesting to hear his views of the match and from those around him - think he's said he does go to Falmer with mates so guess he'll be in a home stand. -

It’s about time the club ditched their ‘Fabrice29’ log-in, it’s doing more harm than good for club/fan relations. -

Yeah, decent post. Another poster said "I remember going to the Dell in 1970...I remember that you could walk all the way around the inside the ground with no segregation anywhere" - well, I started going the following season and you certainly couldn't move from any of the stands to another and that never changed until the day it was pulled down and I can't see how it would ever have been possible before. One for the real old-timers to confirm. -
You’re probably right Trousers but I’d struggle with a microphone stuffed in my face, and if put on the spot I’d be more likely to nut ‘em! 🥴
-
As much as I’m not liking the possession-dominated/reluctance-to-attack RM ideology I’m don’t exactly share some fans deep dislike of the fella. I can’t lose sight of the shit in his early life and that he’s done a lot of good charitable stuff. And I’ve a newfound respect for him and the Pinder if they can strip off on a British beach in November and still smile!

No, Sheff Wed have.

No contest. Flake wins every time. -
Thought I'd have a look and see how tickets were going for this, still very poor but looks like they've either now given the scousers extra tickets or they've taken blocks 29-32 off sale as they're now greyed out. When I first looked when it became available to members it was only the standard away area blocked off. Most home blocks little more than half sold.

The famous U-bend formation against Forest was very close!
-
Once - and then immediately realised he’d made a big error of judgement and went back to the winning formula of the following games.

The club stooges who post on here have been keen to tell us Ankersen has little to do with SFC and Goztepe is his main concern, well Kraft's recent statement certainly blows that out the water "To put it simply, Rasmus is Mr. Football. He works closely with the sporting directors of our different clubs on player recruitment, with the staff and the performance departments" Does anyone know if the Turkish side is forced to play the same way? Looking at their league they're sixth in the top division, scored 19, conceded 13 with 18 points on the board (played 11). If it's doable I vote get him gone, along with anyone else wedded to this tedious 'process'.
-
I would imagine Wolves are keeping an eye on him, he's from the midlands, would probably have some appeal. If you don't have to live there...
-
Maybe they are working on a replacement for first team coach and then, we're clever like this, we move RM to the vacant DOF role. I shouldn't joke, it may give Ras more wacky ideas.
-
They've got the standard 3,000...which will piss them off when they see all the empty seats nearby. Every cloud.
-
This process is hurting my fucking eyes
-
If they haven’t already, then it should be dawning on SR now that the supporters are turning as I got access as a member today for cup tickets and looks like ST holders have shunned this game. Thousands of unsold seats for a quarter final, I guess even the biggest die-hards can only take so much pointless possession and little attacking intent.

His missus certainly was, wasn't she the one who gave Lowe the black eye when he turned up at his house to tell him he was on gardening leave? It wasn't particularly good under Jones, pretty sure there was a game away at Newcastle towards the end where we got dicked and many were calling it one of the worst ever Saints performances. But no one has come close to the vitriol aimed at Branfoot. I was at that first SISA meeting at the Captain's Table pub where the place was crackling. Those early meetings were red hot. I was also there when McMenemy was taking flak from the West Stand terrace on the long walk to the dugout, he had a tough act to follow in Ted Bates, but again nothing like Branfoot. Everyone seemed to love 'Big Dave', was a popular figure and did a great job bringing through the youngsters and was almost forced into taking the manager's job that apparently he didn't really want. LIke Souness, didn't really get much stick despite some poor results. The other Jones, that fittest-in-Europe Welsh fella, may possibly have got a bit more venom if he'd stayed around but, although many of us want a change, RM isn't disliked anywhere near how him and Branfoot were.
