  1. There was a Hedge End Saints flag part covered by that big Millwall flag near the halfway line, disappeared second half, probably moved it elsewhere. These were on the BBC live thread in the build-up
  2. Already taken. Unfortunately.
  3. Woke up in a cold sweat this morning with a troubling thought...with our limited songbook and as we've lost a few chants (Stu Armstrong, Aribo rumored to possibly be off and as we aint gonna be challenging for europe, so no EI-EI-EI-O) was fearing we may be left with just even more OWTS but it could be worse...the return of the Lallana wave.
  4. Yep, it's a real thing.... https://store.southamptonfc.com/clothing/collections/retro/3147_saints-retro-mash-up-shirt.html
  5. We sold more season tickets last year than in the Premier League 22/23.
  6. It looks a bit futuristic compared to the rest of the stadium but I don't dislike it. From inside I can't see any expansion we might do looking much different and that would add 8,000 seats. Maybe the roof is a bit too blue for us...but I'm sure we wouldn't just copy them anyway.
  7. No. We’ll probably sell more corp in the PL but won’t be sold out for all games and that’s include in total capacity which appears well short of 32,000 these days. As mentioned, less 3,000 for aways, more with segregation and the club will certainly hold at least a couple of thousand home seats back for match day sells. Reckon of a max of 26,000 STs would be available. But looking at the amount of seats in block 29 and Itchen North I think it’s possible the club have already released some seats as ST holders have relocated. July 1st will make things clearer.
  8. Block 29 is just about the only block left with reasonable availability (towards the top), everywhere else is down to, mostly, a smattering of single seats. The only other area with a few more is the ‘old’ Itchen North. It will be interesting to see what becomes available on July 1st.
  9. Two seats together just become available in the Northam Block 41 if anyone looking… https://tickets.southamptonfc.com/selection/subscription?productId=10228644212981&polygonId=P_Block_41&blocks=101395930217&areas=&ot=0
  10. There's not a bad view in the entire stadium, if you pick a seat behind the goal or in the corner you should be able to work out what you'll be seeing, the only difference really is the row, low or high, that you're sitting in. The stadium appears to expand the higher you go, I prefer above halfway myself and you can get a virtual view when you click on any available seat in the seat selection on the OS.
  11. You're right, it's usually glossed over on these anniversaries much like how many documentaries about Titanic neglects to mention the impact on Southampton other than the point it set sail from. Of the 1,500 lives lost, around half were crew working below decks with the vast majority coming from here, Having been built there, Belfast is usually the focus of attention but it was far more devastating for many Southampton families. We should shout louder about our city.
  12. Looking at the new away section blocks 22-28 must be 3,000 seats for the PL, would only have needed to be 2,000 if we hadn’t gone up. I assume blocks 27-28 would have gone to home fans in the Championship. And guess the visitors will get blocks 21-22 for the additional FA Cup allocations.
  13. It’s certainly the same site but even that modern image is now out of date as it’s far more built up around the stadium now.
  14. This is how they word it on the OS, states club has been given ‘extra’: 1,233 extra tickets have been given to Saints following our sell-out for Sunday's vital play-off final against Leeds. https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/limited-wembley-tickets-available
  15. This is where they fooked up if there are any Leeds at our end, should have made it minimum of 3 home games that would rule out any southern-based Dirty-Leeds fans buying membership for one home game only. Even if there are some it will be little more than a handful at most spread out and who must be braindead if they make it known.
  16. Extra trains to Waterloo are being put on to help cope with demand Sunday earliest 7:50 from Central…if they’re not already rammed before they get there!
  17. Sorry Whitey couldn't respond as used up my 3 posts - upper rows only til end of season, now being installed all the way down, All safe-standing, must be around 6,000 in the Northam plus some in the new away section.
  18. The entire Northam is now safe-standing top to bottom - just looked again, and now saying none available. Single tickets have suddenly appeared in some blocks over the past few weeks as I guess some may have relocated but as it stand this afternoon, now sold out.
  19. Many have as there's only around 40 seats left scattered around blocks 45 and 46, which will soon be gone, all other Northam blocks sold out.
  20. It's a scouse phrase for out-of-towners
  21. Hopefully they felt they just didn’t need risking Stewart last night and so more ready for the final. Will we see Stu Armstrong back in contention (and Che Adams if heart still in it), Bank Holiday weekend in the smoke, what could go wrong….? Let the fun begin.
  22. It was pretty good for the League Cup Final tbf,* maybe there'll be a scarf on the seat for fans like last time, quite effective and Leeds will likely do it again after last night. *other than that light show
  23. He’d like to but would probably fall over….
  24. "...and ready to turn Wembley stadium white" - whoever they're playing are gonna be a bit of a side show for SKY.
  25. If we do go up we would already have had to deal with it in the Playoff Final. Something to look forward to...
