  1. MLG and Turkish?
  2. I know that's the cool thing to say, but not, it wasn't. It was utterly wank when they did that. MoTD really isn't that bad. You only have to compare it to the coverage of the EFL or foreign coverage of the PL (or TNT Sports) to know that.
  3. Doubt he's got the legs anymore, but if Lallana is deemed good enough, I guess he could be too...
  4. Reading the Arsenal forums, they're not exactly going to be disappointed to see him go. Panicky with the ball at his feet and costly errors seem to be the main theme of the comments. I know they probably have higher standards than Saints fans, but has that familiar Saints goalkeeping feeling....go to be better than current options though (surely?!?!).
  5. Don't worry folks, we've got strict biosecurity measures to prevent spread of any diseases in the grass at the training ground... https://www.instagram.com/reel/C-7cSlcsTvC/?igsh=MXkxbnhhcTF4ZjA0MA==
  6. People who take bikes on trains at rush hour.
  7. For what it's worth, I sat in the home end with the Geordie's on Saturday, directly opposite end of the pitch to the Saints fans (before anyone moans, I was offered a free ticket by friend who's an ST there). I hate to confess, but from where I was I didn't hear a peep from Saints fans, apart from one round on OWTS early in the game. The red card ramped up the atmosphere big time with the home fans and I hate to say it l, was pretty deafening compared with a typical atmosphere at SMS. Geordies do seem more passionate about their football than southerners on average - don't be offended by that. I think it's partly a combination of their new found hope following the sports washing takeover, combined with the fact that life is so grim up there that football is all many people have up there... Having said that, the friend I was with said it was pretty uncommon to hear the away fans due to their ridiculous position within the stadium, so don't think it's a particular reflection on our support. The sound just gets lost that high up. I'm assuming if I was sat a bit closer I might have heard more. As an aside, my other reflection is that northerners are thick as pig shit and couldn't see to tell the difference between Bereton-Diaz and Sam Edozie...
  8. He stands at over 6ft 3, Lesley, Lesley...
  9. Bollocks. Should we be concerned yet?
  10. Really happy for you. We have an excellent opening day record in the Premier League too. Combined with our excellent record at St James's Park, it should be an easy 3 points for Saints.
  11. I can't help, but I am almost certain I got caught speeding when I was out there in May. I thought that I'd probably got away with it, but maybe I shouldn't be so sure...
  12. I also think it's a bit shit. Not entirely sure why it warrants news coverage every time something new crops up.
  13. Hey mods, you can probably go ahead and just combine these threads now.
  14. Jeez, openly professing your love for Tommy... 🫠
  15. It's good enough for Messi too. See loads of kids wearing the Inter Miami kit these days. I actually don't mind it. Not exactly a high bar, but it's smarter than the home kit. And marginally better than the yellow one.
  16. I was on Anglesey a couple of weeks ago and saw someone running in a Saints top, near Newborough. Was that you?
  17. Is this the confirmed kit, or just a concept design based on the sneak previews being given?
  18. Are you sure about that?
  19. Or 2008 to be fair...
  20. Has he had food poisoning yet since he signed?
  21. Don't they make women's replica kits in men's sizes? Imagine the outcry if it was the other way around...
  22. It reminds me a bit of the kit from our first season in League One. A shit kit, with a naff sponsor reminiscent of the days when we were too skint to afford anything better. Anyway, I'm hoping it's a top quality wind up. Given all the zig zags (Pick your stripes) etc in the marketing, I'm still hoping for something a bit whackier. Also, this live stream is tediously awful.
  23. I don't know anything about his footballing ability, but everything I've seen of him in OS interviews has made me love him.
  24. Best sponsor we've had since LD Sports....
  25. The twattish new trend of painting a red cross on mini roundabouts when England do moderately ok at football. It's made where I live look a right shit hole (more than it usually does). No doubt it won't get repainted white anytime soon so just looks like crap EDL graffiti indefinitely (I should clarify, I have nothing against the St George's cross, but it just looks shit when painted by a bell end with a roller).
