Sorry didn't realise you weren't allowed a comment unless you were there. And I was telling you what Solent said not what I saw. I don't need to be there to know what Adam's style of play is so wind yer neck in.
-
He actually got a bit of praise on Solent for the runs he was looking to make but those runs haven't been spotted. I'm amazed people are saying he's failing to hold the ball up. That's not what he is there for. He is there to choose his runs and catch Spurs on the break. We may see a change in tactics with Che later on who is a holding player. I guess people will be happier then as it something they understand.

Only every other year.

You obviously weren’t at the game last night. Three of our back up CBs (Valery, Lyanco and Stephens) all put in decent performances
-
I think it was just the saints badges either side of the screen that were covered up
-
Have you thought about buying a washing machine?
-
Looking at the Euros game from St Mary’s…. Still no new screens then!

It's a tough one. Such a legend for us. That said, you could see last season that his energy, pace and timing was not what it was. We've had more than our fair share of players retained for sentimental reasons over the years and it rarely worked well. Let's see one last season at the top.

If you want a replica shirt that the players wear, you go to the saints megastore. If you want something that looks good, you go to the High Street
-
That's a bold statement to make. And very brave of you to post it on here

It’s a bit like Groundhog Day here. Everyone moans because the new kit is taking a long time to be launched and then when it arrives, half think of a better design and the other half quite like it. At the end of the day the only thing that matters is how they perform in the pitch. If we have a good season this kit will become legendary.
-
At 18 he’d be way too short to be anywhere near first team. Very promising future but several years off his full height yet.
-
I saw a West Ham fan the other day questioning JWP’s ability for similar reasons

Have you come in the wrong forum by mistake?

I don't know where all this talk of deadwood comes from. The deadwood was Hoedt, Lemina, Vesty, Cedric, Gunn, Carillo & Boufal who all departed last summer. We don't have any deadwood now. We have a few who are increasing their distance from the first team and may decide to seek their fortunes elsewhere but most want to be a here and fight for a place. We have 3 keepers leaving (Forster, Lewis and Beach) and have replaced (Caballero, Lis and Bazunu). AMK is a likely replacement for Bedders. Perfect balance so far.

But a year loan would help cover Tino's absence
-
That was my point. Sales would be much higher if they gave the option of buying without the billboard logo. Either way, the latest mock up - which may or may not be close to the actual shirt - does look pretty good. Shame I'm getting too old to be wearing this type of shirt!
-
But if, like several other clubs, they start to give an option of buying a shirt without the sponsor brand... ....that would look pretty good, yes?
-
I think so. They've waited a long time to get back and will probably see a significant investment over the summer. It's their second season up that they need to be careful.
-
Shirt changes these days have less to do with colour clashes and more to do with making sure they 'market' the second and third kit...
-
It seems Bournemouth, Leeds and Fulham are the bookies favourites.
-
Where did this myth come from that goalkeepers shouldn't be beaten at their near post??
-
I'd not heard that about Ings. I did agree with your second comment until I thought about it a bit more. A striker that can only play in a formation that has two up front is not much use to us. There will be times that you do need to play 1 up front (not as often as we did it in recent times) and there fore you need a striker can adapt to that.

Fans: Losing Broja will be a huge loss Semmens: Hold my beer

Listening to the interview Semmens says they HAD someone in mind to eventually replace Ralph who had just come into the EPL over the last year and done a terrific job. He was miles ahead of anyone else as being a good fit. He then went on to say that the person had already gone on to the next level and would no longer be available or suitable.
