I managed to sign up about a month ago with an India address no problem and bought a day pass about 50p but could not get it to work using an Indian DNS via Hola.

Too late for today's game but for future reference when you get freezing, try rewinding about 2 mins and you will often find it's fine. Of course you'll be 2 mins behind! Remember 2 mins is very small as the bar is usually between 12-18 hours!!

If you are switching between the two, make sure the one you dont want is turned off/disabled, otherwise you may get trouble. You may also need to restart browser or reboot. Hope that helps Alan

Did you know you can rewind up to around 12 hours?

When I first connected my laptop (1600x900) to my 720p Plasma a message came up saying I might wan to change Res on 2nd Display (ie TV) which helped. I am going to have a play with it to see the differences. Incidentally Sunderland game currently on HD 6

Not all ISPs leave you with the same IP address for long periods, so they may also have other ways? Also re HD channels, I think the channel numbering is sometimes misleading as I have experienced HD quality on the non HD.

So when you have set up your Geoblocker go to the AJS site and click subscribe if it presents a Form you are ready to sign up. You will either have to set up the DNS on all devices or set up on a Router. Not sure if you can do the latter on SmartDNS as I don't use it I just use HOLA as an extension to the Chrome browser, its free and works for me. Alan

Me too Hypo, I am assuming you are using XBMC in some form. I have searched the Pi & Raspbmc sites and can find little that makes sense to me! I think there may be a better chance loading the basic OS and trying to run via Browser. Might have a dig in to this sometime soon. Although its extra cost I am more inclined to go the Chromecast way when it arrives. Cheers Alan

There is a new device called a Chromecast Dongle, it is available in the US and due here next month for about £23. This will allow a Tab in the Chrome Browser to wirelessely transmit to the Dongle plugged in to your TV HDMI socket. It will not currently work from other browsers, anyway, ideal if you are using HOLA. It does other stuff like transmitting YouTube & Netflix direct and other services will follow, even Sky are considering one for Sky Go. Will save a lot of trailing cables for those of you who like to move around. Cheers, see plenty of ChromeCast videos online. Alan

Have just used the free Google HOLA option with fantastic results. Also works fine accessing USA sites like TV networks and Pandora. Cheers Alan

Watched on my 42" Plasma via HDMI from notebook with Chrome/Hola with no problem. I did reset my Notebook Display Resolution to that of my TV which helped. Wouldn't stop me going to a Home match but I find it nervy watching alone! Too much room to pace

For those used to AJ can you explain the channels? Seems to me there are 2 free, 10 SD and 6 HD? But the schedule shows more than one match on same channel. Cheers Alan
