Fuck me, that is a criminal offside. Edozie plays it to Sugawara who is behind the play... and the flag goes up
-
Paul actually doing some work to hold the ball up and try to bring others into play but just getting totally wiped out by the Getafe lads after his first touch. Ref doing nothing about it, of course
-
Onuachu is playing!
-
KWP and BBD subbed off after 60 mins Saints: McCarthy; Harwood-Bellis, Stephens, Bednarek; Sugawara, Smallbone, Downes, Aribo, Taylor; Edozie, Armstrong
-
Ref needs to start treating this as a proper game to try and get Getafe to fall in line
-
No changes at the break
-
HT: Saints 0-0 Getafe
-
Sugawara is really good
-
Saints on the backfoot just now. Struggling to pass through Getafe
-
Trying not to get in shit with a potential suspension/punishment after the scrap the other night?
-
It does, but it is currently without Charles, Lallana, Stewart and any of the drop outs who will be forced onto the bench by the 3/4/5 new signings that should still come in before the window ends (with the caveat that Alcaraz/Mara/Onuachu may go)
-
No Shea Charles...
-
Saints v Getafe: McCarthy; Harwood-Bellis, Stephens, Bednarek; Sugawara, Smallbone, Downes, Aribo, Walker-Peters; Armstrong, Brereton Diaz Bench: Lis, Lumley, Bree, Edwards, Wood, Taylor, Manning, Alcaraz, Dibling, Amo-Ameyaw, Edozie, Mara, Onuachu

Not as much as it weakens us if they get injured
-
Almost certainly would’ve wanted 1/2 off the books by now

Try reading it again

Well, we made a £15m bid for Fabio Carvalho without any outgoings being set* so you'd like to think getting £12m-£15m for ABK will help to grease the wheels and push an important deal through... *as far as we know

Yeah, Marc Guiu but I don't think you can loan a player out in the same window that you buy them, so Chelsea can't do anything with him other than play him for their seniors or 21s until January
-
No, he's a Bristol City supporter I don't really agree with your assessment of his reporting either. He's clearly quite close to the club's inner circle and relatively trusted by the manager for them to let him tag along to the preseasontraining camp and watch the training sessions and get various interviews with the players. Not something that was commonplace over the last 10yrs or so I am not suggesting that he is the oracle but between what he gets briefed on, what he picks up from knowing people at the club and what he infers and pieces together, I think he is pretty solid and a lot better than several of the recent Saints reporters

If we got O'Riley it would be a permanent and if we get a keeper it'll presumably be on loan (or cheap?) so we'd still not have touched our loan spots. We'd be able to loan in a forward and a wide player, potentially?

It is mad

Because Ipswich are in year one of the Premier League's finance rules and don't have a season where they spent £150m and got relegated in their calculations?
