  1. I think just maintain the current ratio.
  2. I really hope we stay unbeaten, but play really fucking boring football. Be interesting to see what you lot do in that situation.
  3. Well, they have a 25 year guarantee, so let's see. TBH at the moment we're looking at a 6 year ROI, so happy with how it is going.
  4. So glad we're not on oil!! Luckily ours are on our tractor stores roof, so we don't have to deal with that (ignore the mess in the garden - half way through finishing it):
  5. Large old inefficient farmhouse funnily enough - about £4k on gas 😒 - but can't do anything about that.
  6. £17k - battery should have a 10 year life and panels 25 years.
  7. Obviously it feels like we're never going to really see our power bills reduce, so I'm interested in what people have been doing to save energy? Last Summer we put in 8kw of solar panels and a 10kw battery, and I've been tracking the power savings - over the last 12 months we have saved £2900 in electricity. We decided to put these in prior to the COLC, but it has certainly been a welcome saving (our overall domestic bills should have been around £7500 for this past year). I have also been thinking of getting a wind turbine - although the up-front cost of those is very high (and they don't half make some noise).
  8. I'm not sure why you think our team is that good. We were fucking awful last season, and our squad is significantly weaker than the one we had then. I think you may be vastly over-rating the quality of our team. And we're 4th in the League, 6 points clear of 7th. We're not going to get top 2, and to be fair, we shouldn't want to - this team is not good enough to be promoted back to the Prem. Would you prefer we were playing entertaining football, but potentially sitting outside the playoffs? One of the reasons we've been picking up points is due to the fact that we're conceding far less goals, because we're less wide open. You increase the openness, we're likely to concede more.
  9. I'll stick to milking your Mum thank you very much.
  10. Saints fans 2022-2023: I don't care how we play, I just want to win. Fuck it, I'd even take Sam Allardyce. Saints fans 2023-2024, after 13 games unbeaten: Our play and performances aren't good enough, despite the results. Get Martin out. "Hallelujah Noel, be it heaven or hell, the Christmas you get you deserve"
  11. Why do we need a potent forward? You wouldn't play him ahead of AA?
  12. Think we'll lose this one.
  13. All these old posters sound great. I feel very sad that I wasn't part of the halcyon years of the forum, and now I'm just left with you fucking losers.
  14. Tbf, ULEZ and protests are a good thing. You just wait until you have something that you're passionate about enough to protest against. Like raping women, or killing thousands of innocent children. Or destroying the planet for our children. But yes, apart from those things, London is a monumental shit hole.
  15. Better insulated than a lot of current housing stock.
  16. I have to say, he seems a really good, genuine person. I know the relentless positivity and motivational shit can get very grating, but he seems to have a really impressive outlook on life. For those with mental health issues, it's good to see people who have been through some dark stuff and come through the other side with a positive attitude.
  17. Just want to say a huge kudos to Arma - doing a great job in the Championship - can you imagine how pissed off we'd all be if we'd purchased Piroe now...
  18. No, people don't understand this. I've realised that the vast majority of fans who post on this site are morons. I've only been on here about 6 months, but I've already cut down my posting as reading this forum is making me stupider.
  19. Cashed out when the ball went out for a corner...
  20. I don't know what he was doing, but I remember Milan being utterly epic!
  21. We still have Che though, which I seem to remember was paramount to you, and we only play one striker, so where's the issue?
  22. Why's it matter, we were told a few months ago by a number of fans that Che is irreplaceable and in no way should we sell him. We still have Super Che, so we should be fine.
  23. It's pretty easy to me. A supporter should support the team - the clue is in the name. A customer can boo the team, as they can argue the quality of the product is not good enough for the money. People need to decide what they are. Watched the highlights, should have won easily. It was one of those games. Everyone remember in the Summer when a lot of posters on here were losing their mind at potentially selling Che? Makes me chuckle now.
  24. Bump motherfuckers, bump.
  25. He's also been played in midfield for nearly half his games.
