  2. Let's face it, Martin will still be here in 10 years time with us midtable in League Two, playing the same brave possession based football against the likes of Bromley and Accrington Stanley.
  3. We need to be very careful with our dark arts and feigning of injuries today, because it'll be a guaranteed 3 points for Forest if they go down to 10 men (or even 9).
  4. Lambert, Schneiderlin and Fonte are also in talks for a return to Saints. YHIHF.
  5. Cooper would be a great appointment in whichever league we end up in next season imo.
  6. If we don't get promoted this season, I'd like us to replace Martin with one of the following: Steve Cooper Mark Robins Carlos Corberan Danny Rohl
  7. Going for Saints 73% - Coventry 27%. Would take a 51% - 49% all day long though.
  8. I'd rather go up automatically playing Tony Pulis-ball tbh.
  9. Their recent poor form is such a shame for their fans, they work hard all week to spend their money on the club, they deserve success more than any other footy fans in the world.

  11. Saints 2 Ipswich 5
  12. https://www.hampshirelive.news/sport/football/football-news/kamldeen-sulemana-southampton-juventus-links-8490549 "If I am here for the pre-season I will be here and will be ready to put all the hard work needed to bring Southampton back where it belongs.” Hard work 😂
  13. Think this will be one of the tougher games of the season imo, particularly at a near sell out Stadium of Light. A draw would be a decent result.
  14. That's an insane bit of business!
  15. Possession Saints 91% Sheff Wed 9% Shots Saints 26 Sheff Wed 1 Shots on Target Saints 4 Sheff Wed 1 Result Saints 0 Sheff Wed 1
  16. Big fan of the bottom one
  17. His sides are quite poor defensively though, both Swansea and MK Dons conceded 60+ goals in a season under him. Needs to improve on that aspect for sure.
  18. Would be my choice. Think they did pretty well the season before too, narrowly missing out on the play-offs. Brilliant this season considering their budget and the calibre of clubs in that league.
  19. In the 2013/14 season Sunderland were bottom with 26 points after 33 games. They finished the season 14th with 38 points. As per the BBC article posted above, they had a pretty tough run-in too (Man City, Chelsea & Man Utd all away).
  20. Leicester won SEVEN of their remaining 9 league games to stay up in the 2014/15 season. After 29 games they were on 19 points and 7 points from safety. Finished the season on 41 points. Not saying we'll replicate this but football's a funny ol' game.
