  1. Also liked his honesty in admitting he may of got MP wrong and that his style would see us relegated. I like Neville. When the presenter put his words back at him he simply replied "I was wrong".
  2. Who the **** is laughing now!!!!!
  3. Cracking set of results... over to you saints!! It's not like you've ever disappointed me before when handed a fantastic opportunity to put clear water behind you... Oh wait...
  4. Good. That's those spawny ****s Reading's mini-revival stunted!
  5. Huth!!!!!! I once drove him at 140+ mph in a Noble M400 up the Knowsley Expressway... true story! Drogba was in next but Jose came out and told the Chelsea players to get back in the hotel
  6. Get in the Cherries!!
  7. Jesus! That little **** again
  8. Get in Chelsea!
  9. Glad I went the long way round past the ASDA and B&Q. No trouble and some nice chats with the home fans.. Must of been told half a dozen times "you should of won that". No trouble at Wigan Wallgate station either.
  10. Yep. Total agreement here. I thought he was superb. Strong and powerful running in the channels. Great composure to cut the ball back for Morgan. I think he'll only get better with more game time. He's the future for me.
  11. I thought it was great and have to disagree with the OP. me and my son had a great time on the right-hand side of the stand. Some crazy loud renditions of OWTSGMI. Proper spine tingling stuff.. Disappointed naturally by the result but I think having a pop at the support today is a little wide of the mark.
  12. Been a few times down the years. Only ever seen one result! The 3 all draw when Beattie should of won it in the final minute. Think that was the game Pahars 'megged Stam! Great game. Sat in all parts of the ground too. Almost in tears once when we went one up through a Fernandez curler only to go down 2 - 1. I was in with the Irish Man U fans and was getting hugged left right and centre. I wanted to cry :-(
  13. Yeah sorry probably should of made that clearer! Southampton to Wigan for £6.50 might of been the price in the 1950's I guess. It will cost me as much to get from where I live to Manchester Piccadilly station.... which is another story.
  14. Haha! After an email to the TO it appears you can register online (a link I had failed to spot). Upshot is my son is now registered and linked to me and we're off to Wigan for the princely sum of £28! Bargain! Even better is train fair is £6.50 return for the pair of us as well.
  15. Nice one cheers :-) Tried to do just that today... only to discover I can only buy myself a ticket on my customer number now. The option to add my "friends" and "family" to my account was there... I'll need to get him a number at some point by the looks of it. Very useful info, thanks for taking time to post ! Agreed, massive game and would be awesome to get as many as poss up there. As I said I have cheap tickets for Man U in the upper North (binoculars at the ready) but would love to let my son sample the atmos in the Saints end.. he loved Burnley away last year.. I even caught him singing towards the end of that game as we pushed for the winner!!
  16. Hmm. As I suspected. Want to take my son but realised he has to have a customer number to get one online now. Shame as its very cheap. Suppose I could sit in the home end with him like I will be at OT on Wednesday.
  17. Can you pay on the day in the prem at away games?? Got it into my head that you can't for some reason.
  18. Drink in town and get the metrolink to OT??? Not much around the ground other than the Trafford and that gets rammed and is a home pub anyway. Home game for me this. I'll be taking my son but sitting in the Man U stands. Wigan a few days later should be a belter as I am with my own! 0 pts at OT and 3 pts at Wigan will do me nicely thankyou very much.
  19. Worryingly Morgan was being talked up on the sports breakfast show on talksport. Not the greatest of shows I grant you but he's being noticed more and more by mainstream media. Wenger in double swoop in the summer for Luke and Morgan. McMenemy on talksport from 12pm too... Keys and Gray already on the anti-Cortese agenda
  20. Oh and how good was it to see a goal keeping performance??? Didn't have a worry at all about The big man today. Great reflex save and some good keeping all round. One dodgy kick aside I thought he was great.
  21. Morgan ran his socks off... My MoTM by a country mile. The players were playing for the new manager that's for sure. Obviously professional enough to know they have to impress him but at the same time I thought it was a good display. Lacking a little quality at times but Everton are a good side.
  22. That did make me laugh! I'm pretty ambivalent with regard to all this now. I've totally calmed down. **** me how bad is Blackpool's pitch... Good luck up there Nigel !
  23. Yeah crying into my champagne like the Chelsea fans before me... do me a favour mush... we never used to be a mugs club! Champions league...
  24. I feel your pain brother. As a saints fan living in Manchester I've been inundated with all manner of abuse and heckling today (like most of us). It comes with being a Saint. What don't kill you will make you stronger. I wish I was as poetic as Nigel Adkins. A true gent. Handling the pressure with a real zeal and conviction. Meeting the challenge head-on. A man of honour. I've never met him of course but that was my impression. I too have lost a little faith today. I have never and will never boo the team. Johnny Cash and a load of Guinness is getting me to tomorrow... I'll wake up, see my son... and realise the world aint so bad.
  25. Well there you go... Another episode in the clubs history! We can't change it.... It's done Forced upon us fans. Question is: how do we react? Me personally... I'm recalling my grandfather, before me. A saint. A hero. A legend. A saint through and through. We've seen better days. We've been ridiculed more. We've been taken the **** out of. I don't like it anymore than you. It's the cards we've been dealt. Does today's decision change your passion for the club???!! For the saints??! For the city??? Does it ******! It will be here long after Cortese and the Lieberr millions.. It's still THE SAINTS!!' I love you all x Red n white ARMY!!!!!
