  1. Exactly my point the default ko of time is 3.00pm on Saturday, which we know in this case will be moved for TV, nonetheless until that is confirmed the match diarises as 3.00pm on Saturday. As the match is scheduled for after the clocks change it appears in electronic calendars as 4.00pm. i.e. if by Sunday they still hadn't decided the actual ko time it would change to 3.00pm in your calendar. Its all irrelevant but that would be my explanation.
  2. That's just the default ko time taking into account the clocks changing. Its not the actual ko.I think !
  3. Does anyone know roughly when the date will be fixed, cant be that much to discuss presumably ?
  4. I guess he backed the fav Apple's Jade at Cheltenham that came 3rd.
  5. My tickets have just arrived -top of Block 3. Believe it or not there is a chance (albeit slight ) of more snow on Sunday, so keep an eye on the weather forecast! Travel could be tricky.
  6. He’s doing pretty well at Middlesbrough doubt he’d leave. Plus no thanks.
  7. Has anyone got their tickets yet ? Ordered mine online last Thursday not arrived yet .
  8. 1.I have an 100% away record this season. 2.Cup Quarter Final. 3.Pellegrino will be gone in 3 months. 4.I like my seats. 5.The end of season player awards dinner might be cheaper this year or at least less crowded. Edit: Just re read this- 1. I don't mean I've been to every away game but that Saints have won every away game I've been to this season.
  9. 1.Lack of Leadership on the pitch. 2.Lack of Leadership on the touchline. 3.Lack of Leadership from the boardroom. 4.Lack of leadership from the owner. 5.Overall I feel there might be a leadership issue.
  10. I agree about Gabbi that really was zero effort. But Bertrand's goal line clearance was really quite brilliant and ensured we won the match. That's more important than a brief clapping of hands whilst looking in our general direction.
  11. Anyone know the likely ticket allocation for either ground?
  12. Fair enough, but he could also just be another Gardos or Forren. He was billed as another central defender for the first team on signing so hopefully he’ll do more than just play in the U23’s. He’ll be 22 in April so you think he’ll be making a premier league appearance soon. In my opinion we have 4 CB’s and none of them are good enough to form a starting partnership.Maybe alongside VVD but not together. Anyway sorry for derailing the thread. Back to WBA. Good win!
  13. Don’t forget Bednarek .
  14. Pretty much how I saw it.
  15. My first trip to The Hawthorns in 40 years of watching Saints, many thanks for the tips and advice ending up driving parked in The Methodist Church and went to The Vine pre-match. Good day out and worth a visit. I seemed to have seen a different game to many. Performance wise I thought we were average at best,we look decidedly dodgy at the back I really don’t think Stephens or Hoedt are good enough to start.Stephens lost Hegazi at virtually every set piece and Hoedt made another howler along the lines of the one he made against Liverpool but luckily it fell to JRod not Salah this time.Despite the great finish by Rondon ,Stephens is at fault for their goal in my opinion. We were saved by the MOM McCarthy where as I can’t remeber Foster making a save. They also hit the crossbar and Bertrand did unbelievablely well to head off the line. There were also several goalmouth scrambles and one particularly I recall in the first half when WBA really should have scored. We were maybe marginally the better team in the first half but never comfortable and really clinging on in the end. I’m in a minority it seems but I thought Carillo did exceptionally well living of scraps and crap passing , plus he got a very good assist. JWP was very poor completely bullied out of the game by Evans. I’ve never seen a professional footballer look so disinterested in playing as Gabbiadini did in his 20 minutes, literally zero effort. Redmond was the same as ever the odd good moment then plenty of not very much.Everybody else was ok but not much more. Obviously a beautiful finish by Dusan, but we didn’t see much else. Cédric couldn’t have tried any harder and covered a huge amount of ground but his crossing let him down. In short it was the same sort of performance we’ve seen all season , wasteful and timid in possession and don’t put the opposition under enough pressure and far from solid at the back. Great day, fantastic win but that’s it, I don’t see any overall improvement in performance-WBA were poor and a club in disarray and they could have easily won.
  16. We might not win it, but we still have a chance of a day out at Wembley, even if its just in the semi. It would be good to have something to look forward to, apart from Championship football.
  17. I suspect you are correct and The Club will not take any notice whatsoever. However I cant help in thinking, that maybe, just maybe if The Echo actually gave the results of this poll a significant bit of coverage, it might then get picked up by The Nationals and maybe SSN , then The Club might start to squirm. I'm always up for a bit of straw clutching.
  18. Great 3rd should seal it.

    Pellegrino OUT

I posted something similar earlier , I don’t think that either of The Echo or Solent have really reported the high level of discontent with MP and the how the majority are completely flabbergasted that he’s kept his job.Blackmore’s post match interview was almost fawning.
  20. Thanks for the poll.
  21. He has to go, he’s not capable of change or adapting as he has proved throughout this season.

    Pellegrino OUT

I'd happily have Silva here. However I find it hard to believe that he would be anywhere close to landing The Chelsea job.

    Pellegrino OUT

I still cant believe he hasn't been sacked .Its like deadline day, continuously refreshing hoping for some good news ! Mods-can we have a straight forward poll along the lines of should he be sacked or is too late ? Personally I think with nearly two weeks to the next league match and 11 games to go there is still time to act. I'm a bit disappointed that the local media ( Solent and The Echo ) seem to be strangely silent and not ramping up the pressure. Listening to Blackmore's interview on Solent on the way home was cringeworthy. An easy question about how it was unfortunate he had to take Lemina off (as we all saw he had just vomited on the pitch ) followed up about how it will be nice to have the distraction of a Cup match next week. Probing it wasn't.
  24. Many thanks to everyone for their replies and advice -much appreciated.
  25. Thanks good tip- that will be a throw back, in terms of atmosphere, to my earlier years of going away.
