I have to seriously wonder why we didn’t go for any of these in the summer when we were a more attractive proposition. all of these guys were mentioned on here as potential targets before I believe. Waiting to try and attract these guys until we are bottom of the league is a hysterical failure.

I’ve watched him play. He was at Aston Villa when they were a shambles in the championship. He was utter shit there. To compare him with Pelle is apples & oranges. Did alright, against a good side , although not sure how much is down to NJ. Seem to be a bit chaotic and no real patterns of play still But we battled well. Until we have a premier league quality striker we will continue to lose games.

I don’t really think Jackson is what we need. So not too miffed if he does go down the road. But seeing as he’s the only attacking player we’ve been linked to, it is slightly worrying. Wtf are the club doing?

Whoever they are, whether they are spotty student virgins wanking each other off over Football Manager or not, they need to pull their fingers out and find a striker. I’m pretty sure if it was my full time job to scout the world and find someone better than Adam Armstrong and Che Adams it would take less than a couple of weeks to come up with a huge list. I agree with the post above, for our “model” to work we have to have the best scouts in the league Whoever sits above them also needs to understand that ‘Experience’ is a vital metric to add to their spreadsheet too. Something which has clearly been overlooked until now.

I haven’t changed my opinion. In fact, today cemented it even more. He is clueless and will take us down. His subs and tactics are completely baffling. I wanted Ralph to leave but I think he would have more points than NJ by this point.
