Our manager just said Sulemana was out of shape when he arrived. Seems the detractors about both Sulemana and Martin were correct, actually. Poor management & poor from him. A good performance against swansea’s reserves doesn’t change anything. He has to show it where it matters.

And where are the players going to have time to get their additional fitness training in between matches? You haven’t thought about this or played much football yourself, have you? In fairness, TP has never been fit enough to last 90 the whole time he’s been here. So I have a feeling he’s just not up the demands of the PL physically. However there are definitely other players that Martin has negatively impacted imo

My advice for SR: Sell the club to someone that has loads of money and isn’t as thick as two short planks

This is an extremely dumb post You can’t snap your fingers and make someone fit . Not having a preseason will affect you for the whole season. Let alone having half the season off on a jolly under a shite manager

He’s still young and has a lot of positive attributes. Put him next to VVD or even Fonte and I am sure he would be OK. Instead he’s surrounded by clowns and been asked to play ridiculous football for months Its honestly really difficult to judge any of our players this season because of how crap the overall team is (except Sulemana, Arma, Bednarek and Stephens who we have years of evidence for being not PL standard)

I really thought that Onuachu deserved a run of games to see what he’s got. Turns out he’s not got a lot. Another shocking signing really wasn’t he. Although I do still feel like even Erling haaland would struggle in this team. He’s not been given much service at all. Our recruitment is sooooooooo bad. I agree we shouldn’t even try in Jan. May as well save as much cash as possible and really go for the championship imo.

I do not watch Blackburn and don’t intend to. Based purely off what I’ve seen of him this season, I wouldn’t even put him at league one level. I think he has nothing about him at all. Even Lee Barnard had a better touch in league one.

I’ve seen better players down at Sunday league. He can’t trap a bag of cement. His touch is about 10 yards ahead of him every time. He’s slow, always in the wrong position. Just all around shocking player. Not sure why you want to defend such a toilet player but go off, I guess. Id sell him and Sulemana in a heartbeat personally. If we can’t find better than these donkeys I’d sack the entire recruitment team too.

He really is. One of the worst players to play for us since Ali Dia. Literally looks like he’s won a competition. I agree we should loan him though, in case we need him next season. Him and Adam Armstrong show just how big the gulf in class is as neither are anywhere near PL standard.

Not at all. To shine like he does, in such a bad team, at 20 years old. CM is one of the more difficult positions and he makes it look easy. He’s going to the top imo.

It was an obvious, obvious foul. Especially in the context of a season where keepers are overprotected. We were mugged off again. I hope we learn to dive and cheat more under Jurić. I agree that Rambo should have gone down clutching his face. All our players just naively accept decisions. We need to be dirty and cheat like everyone else.
