You and I must have very different definitions of “shit the bed”. The club will be absolutely fine, we have gotten over the loss of far better players than JWP. But I mean what I said. As soon as he leaves and puts on that West Ham shirt he can fuck off. He isn’t a saints legend or icon, just another football player that once played for us. Basically like a slightly worse version of Dean Hammond.

Mate he can literally fuck off. Why would any saints fan want to clap and applaud a West Ham player? He’s made his bed, he can lie on it. He is the one that chose to walk away and leave us in the shit. I hope the rest of his career is a spectacular failure, the same I do when any player leaves us. Because all I care about is saints.

Expected it. Knew it was coming. Still, now it’s here, I’m really fucking sad about it. It turns out a tiny part of me still thought JWP may want to help us get back up. Regardless of your thoughts on him as a player, (I know a few on here weirdly dont rate him), he is a leader and our talisman. He will leave a huge void and he is one of the very few likeable players we had left. Not only that, I trust SR’s recruitment & scouting as much as I would trust a wet fart.

Impossible to predict really, isn’t it? If I had to say; I would say between 10-14th. I just don’t think this current squad has anything about it even at championship level. (Especially if we remove JWP/Lavia). Maybe I’m being too negative, but we need to bring in some serious quality in through the spine of the team imo.
