What was the point of the subs it's just made the performance worse and negative
-
We should play a first team as deliberately fielding a second team knowing the outcome won't likely be z win us pointless. This tactic is now standard for now standard for many reams and resulted in huge empty stands as fans think what's the point. I won't be happy watching a leaque 2 team turnover Saints, handed a free game. Saints 1-0.
-
Hiw many chances missed, 70 plus possession and opposition do one direct attack and score. Typical.
-
Can we stop the keeper trying to be an outfield player in his own box. Why can't keepers just hoof it
-
Ridiculous Red, what is the matter with players judgment on stopping players especially when nothing on.
-
1-1 and that's going on a 2nd half display being similar to Huddersfield. If by chance the same tactics and attacking mentality is continued to 98 mins then 3-2.
-
Hilarious, football clubs pay far too much for players and wages. Fans fund this nonsense, so hope more clubs get points deduction, 50 points for City before the buy the title again and next 5 seasons.
-
Great win. Fraser late late show will fo fine.
-
Holy crap 2-2 yes I'll take that, great an own goal for us!!
-
These modern goal keepers spend tok much time practicing FC24 level 4 skills, kicking and not enough time on diving, saving, catching the basics of a keeper. Bring back Antti

It's boring. Passive, negative football. I struggle to stay awake ar SMS so I can't see how the Saints players can pickup the pace or be more attacking and faster if they needed when 2 one 1 down or 1 down, 2 down. Its almost that we start the game with a draw or don't let 2 in mentality. The team is completely unbalanced some players 8/10 some 3/10. Its better to have players at allotment same level.

Saints 1-1 Rotherham - Match Thread
die Mannyschaft replied to Lee On Solent Saint's topic in The Saints
1 x goalie 2 x defenders in Jan window. Get buying now... -
Leeds are not what they used to be but Saints don't tackle so dirty Leeds will just clatter us off the pitch and walk through defence. If we were in an exhibition match then no problem but real football no chance. Saints 0-4 that's on the basis the best team won't be selected. Alcaraz will go in Jan window 🪟

Boro out played Saints. Why hold a player and pull them down, what's wrong with tackling. From what I watched this was conferance south level. £22m sub comes on too late and does nothing, strange team line up. This really does look like a regation setup, team and tactics. How can you lose to Boro,
-
We have to get at least a point, otherwise just confirms teams can predict Saints with ease and possession football won't work in championship.
-
Anyone who understands 4-4-2 and the long ball. Even Man U won titles by just sending in crosses and launching ball in box. I would even take RH from Palace. A manager needs to be alert to new stupid fads like having two players in 6 yard box when taking a goal kick, and not tackling . Ipswich were putting 9,10 passes together without us making a tackle.
-
A draw at best. We can only compete against Bitton 8 teams witch have -4 to -9 goal diff. So that's 16 draws plus our 10 points gives 26 points. Max if we win 5 games all season maybe 42 to 49. I just can't see any improvement due to possession football which is essentially a tactic to waste 80% of tge game in hope of a break or counter attack. Different formations and players swapped in different positions won't help either as the basic starting point of DONT ATTACK and wait until one of 3 shots on target go in. I would rather see long ball boot it in the box Borough 0-0 Saints
-
It's impossible to win more games than you lose if the plan is possession football with no natural forward. Its only 5 minutes out of 97 mins where we have a chance to shoot. About 11 million people play football in England and we can't find 2 or 3 forwards who can shoot instinctively from 1 yard or 25 yards without thinking I must pass first.
-
For the First time since 1976/77 left early with 7 mins added. The standard of football is conferance south. The players first instinct is to stop the ball, pass, pass another 5 times, then back twice then pass to opposition. Ipswich kept tackling until they got a yellow, we did nothing defensively, no one in midfield at all, great open spaces. I did the right thing by not renewing my season ticket. Just such boring football with no aim. How can a team win games if they don't play to score goals. I can't see Saints winning a game before new year. And 2 players in the 6 yard box when we have a goal kick, what tge he'll is that about, surely that's not in the UEFA coaching level 3 handbook of how to win games.
-
Don't expect promotion via playoffs as this defence is championship or even leaque 1. How can you let a goal in within 1 minute again. It's more like another survival season. 6,7 or 8 tonight. I'm not looking forward to Hong to Ipswich game.
-
This could be 8-0
-
8th at best 6th but very unlikely as you need goals and we don't have any proper front players. Defence is a concern as we don't score more than we let in and possession tactics is not real football. Playing the low press in your own box is just not aggressive enough in Prem let alone a direct ball leaque.

Saints first team to select 11 Pokemon. Ridiculously poor performance and web site wants £4 per month to listen to commentary.
-
This is the Saints team. Av it.
-
Will season ticket prices be released now and will you renew?
die Mannyschaft replied to Paul Chuckle's topic in The Saints
Needs to be a reduction in price for season tickets as its too expensive plus on the day ticket costs. These are the prices for teams in championship this season. Surprisingly expensive so club will say its on par with others and keep prices same or as I suspect 10% more. Birmingham City - £250 to £475 Blackburn - £429 to £529 Blackpool - £309 to £54 Bristol City - £380 to £675 Burnley - £365 to £590 Cardiff - £249 to £529 Coventry - £399 Huddersfield - £350 Luton - £430 to £500 Middlesbrough - £514 to £675 Millwall - £385 to £560 Preston - £400 to £535 QPR - £235 to £640 Reading - £299 to £445 Rotherham - £380 to £460 Sheff Utd - £404 to £515 Stoke - £379 to £556 Sunderland - £390 to £498 Swansea - £345 Watford - £438 to £567 West Brom - £329 to £439 Wigan - £379 to £399
