City 5-5 Saints 301/1 or 1-1 20/1 Could be anything if you factor in added 9 mins 2nd half, a red card here and there, VAR, and the now usual 5 subs. I'll go for an early goal from Saints or og City, then.....
-
As long as there is no VAR then I'm happy. Shoukd be more goal so again more entertaining and I go to watch goals not passes or sideways football. A lot of players will move on or get sold. A chance to go to Wembley is another plus in Championship More chance to go to away games. Easier to get tickets if no season most of the time It would be ironic if RM stayed and got us promoted again. Even when Saints play well we lose or bottle it in 2nd half. Need at least 14 points by end Dec or it's relegation.

I don't understand why the subs were made when cruising 2 up. If the players taken off had to due to fitness then that's a worry that starting 11 can't last past 70 mins or so. The subs left Saints second bedt and struggling. If you cant win the six pointers your not likely to win any games from teams above 15th.

As long as we are not 8 points adrift then can leave it till last few games, otherwise it's 3 wins to make the table look good. I don't expect much ti change even in Jan window. I didn't expect a goal, hit bar and post, and few balls in box at Arsenal so if Saints can do that at home v lcfc we may nick a 1 nil win.

On a football entertainment rating its not good. Hardly anyone shoots from distance, constant free kicks at corners, boring football tactics, VAR stupidity, diving, rolling around, players sitting down in box to stop attack . And vastly over priced. Watched Winchester City v Weymouth and that was proper football.
-
If Saints keep doing that we won't a win all season. Even some free kick and a corner v Forest was passed back to halfway line then to keeper.

Bets placed 2-2 25/1 0-1 40/1 7-0 60/1 9-0 100/1 0-2 100/1

I can't see RM leaving as he was signed up to play the way the board and owners want. Plus all the players we have in transfer windows are players who want to play that type of football. If your making decisions based on generating income then it's best ti stick with what you have. Even if relegated we could go back up and I guess better off. Season tickets will still be same cost or higher, no store discount, I'm sure club will find a way to charge more, maybe £10 to keep you seat or £1 to use the bog. WBA must be well off still with promotions.

Always a good away game up there and thd old Highbury library. I think we saved 16 shots once I was there, may need to do the same. 0-0 if we play 1-8-2. Have we got 10 defenders that's not 5 each half the whole 99 mins
-
We may be relegated boxing day so shirt maybe 75% off.
-
Oh well game over.
-
Too slow. We can't compete just on the basis that our game is to slow things down, stop and look. No urgency and don't like to take long shots. Why is Dibling not on the wing.
-
There isn't any discount applied when you order a shirt on line, do season ticket holders get any store discount or has that now been removed.
-
Home tie that's good. This isn't a 6 pointer is it?
-
Playing out from back allows teams to regroup and take it easy and just watch us pass around. That then reduces the number of chances we create, I can't see a win so a 3 nil loss. We struggle v direct football teams or ones with any pace. Another must win game, perhaps a sink hole at Bournemouth will get game called off.
-
I don't understand our tactics, nor does anyone around me. What's the point standing still with ball and wait for opponents to close close down, pass at last minute then next person does same until loose ball. May as well lump it up front. Subs didn't do anything just slowed game even more. We can't defend due to starting all moves level with AR it's asking for trouble.

Everton 1-1 (5-6p) Saints - Match Thread
die Mannyschaft replied to Lighthouse's topic in The Saints
A win away, at Everton and on pens. Excellent Saints I'll take that ang day. -
What's the worst Saints penalty that you've ever seen?
die Mannyschaft replied to Rut's topic in The Saints
Unless you have a record of lots sense scored by idiotic stop start, watching keeper to move and slotting just next to them or wide or dinking then no player should take a pen. Players have played in previous teams, leaques so if not highly skilled then don't risk. We should of had keeper to take it as tgey can hit the ball with pace, more chance go in. Yesturday pen is with other useless ones by players trying something they don't have the skill to do. -
Are you allowed to sub a player on to take a pen? Just thinking for next time Saints get a penalty.
-
How can a striker not hit the ball top corner for a pen v a tall keeper who uß likely to bet ball low down. Doesn't look good for our goal tally end season terrible pen.
-
Saints players still queuing in lobby waiting to shoot. Give them an Oadis ticket if the hit the target
-
Football changed when Sky got involved. And no prawn sandwiches at the Dell even back then.
-
Too many touches in the opposition box. Why do players need to put foot on ball, take 2 or 3 touches then pass back or sideways? A player facing the goal at 18 or 14 yards out should be shooting at any angle. Need 2 strikers and a winger ASAP. TD was superb he knows how to play football going past players.
-
Saints 2-0. Anyone know if season ticket holders have a discount voucher for the store? Do we still get 10% off or has that gone as can only see food and drink voucher in ticket app.

What a decent season looks like for a poor PL team
die Mannyschaft replied to benjii's topic in The Saints
Not bothered at all after the Play off SF and final at Wembley to secure promotion. It's unlikely that any of the bottom 8 teams will do anything near a euro place season on season in Prem without astronomical amounts of spend. I'll be happy with a bit of luck and avoid relegation.
