Players value astronomical now, we have over paid. Not much return on investment which for club like Saints will mean fire sale before buying new team next July. Can't believe how many goals we have per millions spent. £20m, £27m for 1 player that's not sustainable with Saints sell to buy policy.

Was in block 24 last season. Also been in 37 and 13 for season tickets. Originally when ground built, in block 42 row 5 then atmosphere was top notch especially v Skates etc. Its not bad in Northam and standing much better as seats toʻ small and rows too close. Some games the noise has been very good. The boring football sends fans to sleep so it's not all fans fault

Most 0-5 losses in a season.

I think the club has given up as know it's relegation barr the biggest miracle in football history and players , staff already identified for fire sale. The prices we paid for players is staggering and that needs to be recouped before buying next season in championship. The new manager is just a PR exercise or some other master planis in motion. The retail and food, drink doing well though!

Football is such a basic game, just look at how Brentford moved up the pitch with pace and directness. None of tge fans around me could work out what the tactic was Saints were doing. We just waste time being too slow at everything, back to nonsense football. The few times we did dribble past players the rest of team not moving as a unit or no options.RM BACK IN, at least we knew this was his game plan and what to expect, I can't believe what was on display, 10x worse than possession football, this was possesion plus, or XL.

Just gone to Betfred and £10 Saints stay up !! Yes I'm not sure if Juric is doing zonal marking in one situation and 1v1 in another. Or Saints just get drawn out from thier desired tatctic. Certainly not 1v1 in corners. We don't have pace to play 1v1 , not defending or on wing unless Dibling and Paul have possession but then normally no one to pass to.
-
Saints 1/25 for relegation Saints 14/1 to stay up, worth a £10 ??

Just going to try to enjoy games now. Unless we win all games v 7 above us it's near impossible to get above teams as they will be kn 22-28 points meaning Saints have to draw all games v top 10 or win . The tactics are at least more positive and on front foot but too many subs and never having best first 11 for 90 mins means we struggle to defend and attack. Saints 1-1 Brentford. And get the large banner out in Northam if we look dodgy!! Or put big arrow with shoot here by goal.

£20m !

Need points v Palace and button 7 teams otherwise can't see anything from majority of games to play. If games were 45 mins we epuld be ok. No doubt 5 subs in last 15 mins.
-
I thought Saints spent £96m already on players, plus the large sun's on a few players last season would mean no money for Jan window or the usual sell first then see what dosh iz avaliable. Need a forward and winger. Knowing Saintz it will be players from championship or some 2nd division in eurooe
-
Not sure how we made 6 subs v WHU but I worry that too many changes just disrupts the Saints game plan. Non of the subs are like for like so the starting 11 normal plays a cohesive attempt of whatever plan we have then it falls apart. Is it me or are half the player not fit or less able to run/dribble with the ball. Palace game will be a trail and error training session. Put Dibling upfront with tall Paul and continue to cross balls in box.

Seen Lamb of God as support for Motorhead. Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Saxon, Priest, Magnum, Rush, Lizzy, Angel Witch, Samson , Hawkwind . Those old enough will remember how easy it was to go to a Saints game in London Dell then go to a gig at Gaumont or Hammersmith odeon etc. Been to Pompey Guildhall a few times motohead etc with Saints shirt/scaf and I wasn't killed by Death!
-
Much better, especially the first half. We are not a pacy fast side and revert to sideways when running in space in front would be better. Need some shooting practice. As others have said before too little to late ut at least it's now watchable. Still good support.

Time for some heavy metal Saints Playing for the high line Dancing with the VAR Going with the flow It's all a game to me Seven or eleven points Snake eyes watching you Double up or quit Double stake or split The Ace of Saints The Ace of Saints You win some, lose some, draw some, It's all the same to me

I think the team is confused up with possession v attaching football or any new style we need to adopt. We only have a few players that naturally run and take players on. More crosses have beeb sent into box but still way shirt on shots on target. I'll go Saints 1-0 WHU but if only one shot on target at 40 mins then Saints 0-1 WHU. A much improved Saints at Fulham just need to get goals.
-
Radio commentary said Saints passing at back for no reason. At some stage a player must think I need to pass the ball forward. Sums up Saints running down the clock at 20 mins. Anyone watching the game as it sounds awful. I thought RM had left

Has anyone got one of those spreadsheets you can enter in results and then see where the teams standings are in table. I think there are 7 or 10 games where bottom 6/7 teams are playing each other so the 11 points gap is actually higher. Let's hope our creative players can setup enough chances tomorrow for who ever is upfront to get thato elusive win.

I read somewhere while ago that rules will be changed to fit in with the complainig teams who need flexibility to essentially rework finance in accounts each year. Man City will never be docked points and if anything they will gain points next season by winning prem again due to buying the leaque. The new rules will be affective before City get thier ruling completed as lawyers will take 12 months.
-
It would be the biggest turnaround in football history to from worst team to best team and best Liverpool. I'll think unfortunately another 5 goals as we let in too many goals and just can't score enough. VAR will assist Liverpool again. Just hope Saints play as a unit and have a game plan.
-
That surprise me. Oh well Thanks RM for the WBA home game and Wembley final win which was best Saints atmosphere. Can't see anyone big coming to Saints. Probably some 3rd div French or Belgium manager or the Wolves bloke. I think 10 points adrift is too much to make up, so any new manager will be championship standard to work on promotion.
-
10 points adrift as it stands, we needs points and preferably 3 of them today.
-
I can't see any ground increases happening. If the desperately needs more revenue whrn they already get £120m in TV money a bolt on 3k seats won't come from fans eating 1,000s of pies and hot dogs and litres of beer. You would think 29k attendance per match plus shop sales is already filing a room full of cash. Better off paying for a platform stop for rubbish SWT.
-
Any expansion would rely on fans being Able to walk to the ground. I can't see fans from Eastleigh or Winchester diving in as the traffic congestion would be back to thier front door. The trains are jam packed. On the plus side more beer sold and burgers. The Northam bridge needs expanding, by the time I get to train station the away fans are already there. If the club don't buy any new players then £32m is a bargain

Whatever happened to the captain organjng and directing the team as the went along. You hear parents at junior level just constantly telling thier kid where to stand, when and where to run, who to pass, when do shoot. It's remote football may just as well play FC24. Tablets, PowerPoint printouts bits of postit notes, shouting makes no difference if the tactics are wrong. And doesn't help fans watching boring football
