As long as he doesn't try to manage us

Sinclair's goal was in the FA Cup

He's been offered a coaching role at Spurs by his Dad. And no thank you to the idea of Shearer. Someone with experience please.

Indeed. Wotte said that himself with reference to offering Super Kelv a contract. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=11767

Jimmy Calderwood as manager

If DMG had been utilised in his correct position throughout the whole season he would have scored more goals. He plays best as a second striker, dropping into gaps between the midfield and defence. It's no coincidence than when Wotte used him in this role he had his best spell of the season. 5 goals in the last 13 games of the season proves this. He would be a much better option for us than Saga (who clearly doesn't want to be here) and Euell (who puts himself about, but seldom puts it in the bloody net). Play him with a Steve Howard type centre forward and the goals will fly next year.

Football Manager 2009 - Southampton Save Game Thread

I actually find the update much more realistic in general -
Jealousy me thinks...

It's pretty good thanks. No Killer-like reactions to it yet.

Hear, Hear Gaffer

Hahnemann is terrible, if KD went I'd rather take our chances on Forecast. Murty would be decent, but I get the impression he's a bit injury prone. Gordon Bennett would be decent but I expect he'll go to Brentford as well. Duberry is past it and we'd have no chance with Lita.
-
Richards would do a job, but I thinks Fish is a better prospect at left back.
-
I think he is on the verge of retiring - has a knackered hip I think.

A belated thanks to Steve and Baj, and the rest of the lads. It was a brilliant night. COYG! -
Next managerial appointment will make or break us!

As long as we avoid Adams, Gregory, Holloway, Robson, Sanchez and Wise. Ince is a good shout, as is Boothroyd. And what about Pardew also? Granted he was poor with Charlton towards the end, but he did well with Reading and West Ham in the lower leagues. -
If we could keep him then that would be fantastic. Unbelievable in fact. But given he still has aspirations to play in the prem i seriously doubt it.
-
It's because he's playing in his natural position. The lad's always had the talent, he's just not an out and out striker.
-
If we don't win, we won't stay up. Simple

Fingers crossed. The dream is becoming more and more of a reality.

Below us?!

There's a good manager working wonders at Leicester. I think he'd be worth a punt...

Just been promoted via the play offs, and have been given a measly £1.3 mill to spend to keep us up in the Prem. Ignore any doubts over the stats, Lallana is a star. Scored 19 for me plus 10 assists from an attacking midfield role and now worth nearly 6 million. Spiderman is also brilliant and now virtually every club in France want him. Gasmi is quality too, and a must have signing.
