  1. Fellow nerds, I have a "user" (if only I could rule 1 it) that has a 16GB HPv210w USB stick. She has been using it for a while without any problems, but now she cant see any of the data on it, Windows can see that the USB is plugged in, but wants to format it before it can be used. For some reason, its formatted in RAW format. What she wants to be able to do is get the data off of it, then reformat back to NTFS or FAT32. I work in IT, but the solutions we have available haven't seemed to fix the problem. What I need is a FREE data recovery program that can view the contents of a RAW formatted USB stick. or further advice on how to resolve this. Thanks in advance.

  5. "The idea that the universe erupted with a Big Bang explosion has been a big barrier in scientific attempts to understand the origin of our expanding universe, although the Big Bang long has been considered by physicists to be the best model. As described by Einstein's Theory of General Relativity, the origin of the Big Bang is a mathematically nonsensical state -- a "singularity" of zero volume that nevertheless contained infinite density and infinitely large energy" http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/07/070702084231.htm
  6. Sorry, should have explained better. I didnt post those links to prove that it was losing weight, it was just extra reading. Try these.... http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/07/070702084231.htm http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=big-bang-or-big-bounce http://www.world-science.net/othernews/060514_bouncefrm.htm
  7. Apparently, the "Big Bang" theory is starting to lose weight in the scientific world. The only factor that supports a "big bang" is the fact that the universe is expanding (its expansion means it must have originated at a single point), yet the "big bang" theory doesn't stand up to other scientific scrutinising. Have a look at these... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmic_inflation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiverse#Bubble_theory http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_fluctuation http://www.universetoday.com/15051/thinking-about-time-before-the-big-bang/
  8. Are you suggesting that he did..?

  10. We (the human race) are only here because that mathematical improbability happened. The universe is a finely balanced entity, alter any of the factors that amass to create our existence (change the amount of oxygen in our atmosphere by 1%, move earth closer to the sun by 1000 miles, increase earths mass by 1% etc) and we wouldn't be here. http://nobeliefs.com/exist.htm
  11. Has this project been brought to the attention of the Echo,
  12. I have this one. http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalog?hl=en&rls=com.microsoft:en-US:{referrer:source%3F}&rlz=1I7GFRD_en&q=epson+wireless&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=11625600298241327965&sa=X&ei=_JfKTZnQB8aFhQfn89yoAg&ved=0CGsQ8wIwAw# I'm not sure about ipads, but i print from my iphone4 to it using a free app called ePrint.
  13. Don't know if its already been mentioned, and i'm not telling you how to suck eggs, but make sure you get a fire certificate for the flag. Back in the Lowe era, the club used the fact we didnt have a fire cert to refuse us entry into the ground with the "Lowe Out" banner. The company that are making the flag will probably be able to help.
  14. Not that im a Mail fan, but it does mention its sauce... "The report, in the latest issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association" So I guess anyone can check the facts.
  15. I'm sick of the US media constantly confusing Osama and Obama.. Clearly, one is the Muslim leader of the largest terror organisation in the world, and the other is lying at the bottom of the sea. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ How ironic, that in a million years time, osama will be oil. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ An anagram of Osama Bin Laden is "lob da man in sea"
  16. As Plymouth is out last away game of the season, and could be the game that seals us promotion, does anyone have any plans to go in fancy dress? If so, is there a theme this year. In case none of this has been arranged yet, may I propose a quick poll to get an idea of what people think we should go as. recognition of one of the following maybe... - Fonte: where an elastic band in you hair ?!?!? - Cortese: go as mafia types - Leibherr: Um....something swiss related. any other ideas..??? Or we could go in our normal clothes and just get really shatfaced !!!!
  17. Your're thinking of Bigfoot.
  18. Sorry if its already been mentioned on this thread, but it might be worth contacting this company, I think they are Saints fans and some may even post on here. http://www.astroflag.co.uk/index.html
  19. Davis doesn't deserve to break Shilts record. Shilts did it in the top division, Davis has done it in the third tier of English football.
  20. So are Lions and Tigers.
  21. Got this from the Oxford English dictionary.... "Doing a Saints": To shoot oneself in the foot, to be one's own worst enemy, to snatch defeat from the claws of victory, to be agents of your own demise. Example: (During Eng V India at the recent world cup) Mike Atherton: "Looks like England all the way from here, cant see India getting back in it now" Nasser Hussain: "Yeah, but Mike, you forget England's ability to "do a saints"
  22. He also gets to smash Bree Olson's back doors in. So not all that bad.
