Will be moving to Woolston soon and have noticed that the Grove Tavern in Swift Road will be my local. Anyone from here ever drink in there and can comment on what's it like, decent ales? good atmos? will I get my face smashed in? etc. Must admit, I've not been in yet, but from the outside, it does look like it could do with some tlc. I can honestly say that all the estate agents we have dealt with have been fine, like you say, almost falling over themselves to get me to look at houses.
