Cant believe this has been missed... "KM expressed concerns over the PST share percentage; there is now a perception that PST should always have at least 51% to retain control. This shouldn't mean refusing extra money offered but should be born in mind. AB asked what the PST EB would want the PFC board to do if further President investment were offered. MT felt the percentage concerns shouldn't prevent PFC accepting further investment but that PST should try and keep the 51% majority and suggested we should target the 12,500 or so who come to FP but don’t have a share. AB thought that future share issues should only be created and launched for specific capital projects in which case people might accept a reduced percentage. KM thought funding for projects could be done in such a way that the percentage is not affected. He said we must look to make the Club secure for the future and leave a foolproof legacy. PW asked how much control the PFC board had over future investment. AB said the PFC board would have to approve it.

Down: West Ham (hate everything about them) Cardiff (bad enough having one welsh team in the Prem) Swansea (dont want any Welsh teams in the Prem) Up: Reading (good local game, plus NA in charge) QPR (just to see them go down again with HR in charge) Bournemouth (would be funny to see them get a hammering most weeks, before eventually going back down)

Nope, I'm suggesting that its pretty much exactly the same. Read FM's initial post on this, he said that with the death of every news paper comes the death of free speech. I was pointing out that the internet provides an adequate forum for free speech. Wikipedia is probably the best example as anyone can write anything, whether is it accurate or not is another matter, but its still the free'est of free speech.
-
You've gone off on a bit of a tangent there, your original point was that free speech and the ability to hold those in public office to account was greatly reduce with the death of each newspaper. I beg to differ, I would say that free speech was even more achievable on the internet. You only have to look at this forum to notice that a lot of things a said on here that probably wouldn't be said face to face....or what about the Anonymous organisation....or any person that has posted anti government messages in Egypt, Ukraine, Tunisia etc etc. Most of the uprisings were encouraged by posts on facebook, twitter etc, could you imagine trying to do it via the local, or national, paper. Wikipedia is also a very good example of free speech on the internet, as anyone can type anything they want. The same apparatus is also used to bring those in public office to account (E petitions, blogs, etc) What makes you think that the printed press is any more reliable that the information available on the internet? Most papers have a hidden agenda anyway, or certain politics they adhere to, or in some extreme cases, controlled by the state.

You've heard of the internet, right?

13 points from 13 games needed. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/barker-reveals-pompey-survival-points-target-1-5905436 bit ambitious if you ask me !!!

I bought the wife some edible underwear one Christmas as a bit of a joke. They have never been used, but i've always fancied putting them on ebay as "worn once" just to see what sort of bids I would get.

Exactly my point, they are flying south to north predominantly. I haven't a scooby do, but just seem to have noticed more and more. -
I know there are a few on here that know about these sort of things, but have the military changed their flight paths, training areas recently. Over the last few months I've noticed more and more Chinooks flying over my house in Bitterne, the other day (probably before Christmas) I had an Apache helicopter fly over, the same happened again over the weekend. Or are we under attack from America?!?!

When they start handing out cups for free parking at SMS and better PR I'll accept that Cortese leaving was a good thing for the club.
-
That maybe, but you don't know for sure that it wont happen. I appreciate, the chances of it happening were greatly diminished once Cortese left.
-
How do you know you were right on this one, we may still play in the champions league in a 50k stadium. How can you be 100% sure this wont ever happen?
-
Probably just referring to press stories.....http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/sam-allardyces-absence-fuels-rumours-of-west-ham-bid-for-rickie-lambert-9064076.html Notice the "rumours" but in the title.

That reminds me, I've never seen Turkish and Glasgow Saint in the same room together.

IMHO, you may need to evaluate your "so many scams with puppies" stance. It may be a bit of a generalisation, but I doubt that people that run puppy farms would sell them via Pets4homes to be honest. Only look at adverts that offer the chance to see the mother, and in a home environment, that way you can be assured that its a genuine sale. Most of the ads on Pets4homes have telephone numbers, don't be afraid to give the owner a call and ask loads of questions, if they haven't got anything to hide they wont mind you asking loads of questions, in fact it may well put their mind at rest knowing the dog is going to a responsible owner. Have a look at this link, and base your questions around the "points to consider when buying a puppy" section (can you see mum and dad, other puppies etc) http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/az/p/puppyfarming/#.Uuln0xB_u4E Also, puppy farm owners will find it very difficult to provide satisfactory answers to these 2 points. If possible request a written agreement that purchase is subject to a satisfactory examination by your veterinary surgeon within 48 hours of purchase. Ask if the puppy will be covered by insurance for any illness during the first six weeks in your care (most good breeders subscribe to this scheme). Hope you find each other!

That's not how scouting works though is it, I doubt a scout is given the assignment "go and watch X club, and tell me who their best player is". Scouts are usually sent to watch a specific player / players. The only way to compare who the best is at the club is to compare the different scouting reports.

He just going through the motions, child star engages in naughty behaviour to further progress their career shocker! there is a long line of teen stars that realise that when they get to a certain age, they can't rely on kids to buy their cr@p as some other teen star has come along and stolen their thunder. For some bizarre reason, their management company think its a good idea to get into minor incidents with the police to shake of their "clean" image and to try and appeal to an older audience, loads of kids have done it.
