  1. That's the trouble with society these days, no one is prepared to put the effort in themselves, just want everything handed to them on a plate.
  2. The9, You could have saved all that copying and pasting and just put the link up.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015%E2%80%9316_UEFA_Europa_League Who's up for a few days on the **** in rebel held Ukraine !!!!
  3. Im guessing 1st July, Tonny Vilhena confirmed. I'm not ITK.
  4. Could be a number of teams http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015%E2%80%9316_UEFA_Europa_League
  5. I assume the dates for the friendly with Feyenoord would change depending on Euro qualification. If we finish 7th and have to go in at the 3rd qualifying phase, the two legs are the 30th July and 6th August. EDIT: Actually, playing Feyenoord 6 days before a qualifier is probably a great way to get prepared. I assume then, that the tournament in Salzburg would be disrupted.

  7. To be fair, I doubt that the hotel in question has had an array of Matt Le Tissier shirts handed in.
  8. I recall this story every year on this thread, so might as well say it again.... I was born 2 weeks after the cup final in '76, so my Mum was obviously heavily pregnant (it was also her birthday) at the time and didn't go. However, My Dad did go and got so caught up in the celebrations that he went missing for 3 days afterwards. He has absolutely no recollection of what happened to him or how he got back to Southampton, he has a vague feeling that he was at the guildhall square...but that's it. He finally returned home in the afternoon of the 4th May...."In a bit of a state" according to Mum. Legend.
  9. Agree, I well up for people going on there and winding them up, but try and make it look a bit cleverer than the ramblings of a 5 year old FFS !
  10. Sorry if posted before, but this thread is amazing.... http://fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=588275
  11. Spent a week in Dubrovnik and a week on an island just off it called Mljet, both were really great places to visit. They both tick all your boxes....apart from one....there is a limited number of decent beaches in the area in general as the coastline is very rocky. You can find them (there are 2 in dubrovnik) but don't expect miles of golden sand. Plenty of stuff to do and look at.
  12. This, travelling around India for 6 months was a very rewarding experience for me. Learnt more there than I ever did at school etc. Brilliant place with such diversity.
  13. I may be wrong, but from the wording of your post, it seems that you are going to make all the arrangements for her.....I’m not sure this is the right approach, she will have a lot better understanding of what her itinerary is if she organises it herself. She can make amendments to it as the ideas start to develop and pick and choose what she likes the sound of etc., further reading and internet searches may give her ideas on places she has never heard of etc. Also, it’s probably not the best of starts to learning your way in the big wide world, if your dad does everything for you before you go.
  14. When my sister said she was of to join ISIS, I was actually relieved when I found out that she meant the terrorist organisation, and not the strip club in Southampton !!!

Or, they have pegged a complimentary comment on a ex team mate (to a belgian newspaper) on to the comments he made a few weeks ago about how Atletico will decide his future. Hey presto = I want to sign for Spurs.
  18. I think that's where "giver" and "taker" comes from.....one of the gay's gives their surname to the other, who then takes it.
  19. We have students from all around the world working on projects for a few months, then heading back to their uni; almost all of them comment on what a shiiitehole Southampton is for night life / things to do. They are here for 6 months at a time, and spend their weekends in other towns (Brighton, Bath, Bournemouth etc) Unless you are down here to count how many student flats we have in the city, don't expect a great night out. Especially after letting 4 in....
  20. Doubt everyone will be there, to be honest.
  21. You're all assuming Lou is a looker, for all we know, she could have the face like a dropped pie. Should be quite the spectacle down the Farmhouse, watching a load of internet warriors compete for the attentions of a lone woman... Someone report back here, cheers
  22. "The DJ makes a J sound" Reach for the laser beams....safe as fxck
  23. Derek rates himself.
  24. Hmmm, to be fair, we've had more that our fair share of nutters. He's probably one nutter too many!
  25. Antonio Cassano available on a free http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/30994513
